It doesn't make you look better to vote for someone you know is a terrible candidate just because you've been scared into voting for whoever you're told to.
Why do you suppose so many people specifically want to vote for Trump instead of getting bullied into voting for any generic republican the same way democrats are? His TV show had the most democrat skewed audience in all of prime time TV by a huge margin, so it obviously wasn't that. He wasn't the RNC's pick, media coverage was the most negative of any president in US history, so you can't exactly claim they were convinced by the media. So why do you think it is that someone who's been famous for nearly 50 years suddenly has so much political support from the exact opposite people who paid any attention to him for the first 40 years of him being famous?
