" Lastly, she also explained how the Priority Mail works, and how she's never heard of a case where Priority mail takes longer than 2-3 Business days."
With all due respect, the lady is bullshitting you big time or she's worked for the post office for a day.
It CONSISTENTLY takes longer than 2-3 days for priority mail to arrive.
It took 9 days to colorado from LA for a package I sent a couple of weeks ago. The also lost a priority package to New York same week.
Lastly, there is NO tracking on a regular priority mail.

Just to set something straight, to say "It CONSISTENTLY takes longer than 2-3 days for priority mail to arrive" is just not true, at all. It can happen but it is certainly the exception rather than the rule. I have a busniness and I send and recieve hundreds of items ever year via Priority Mail (to and from residential addresses around the US). I cannot remember a single time, out of thousands of packages, that it has taken longer than three days (-Sunday), even during the Christmas season. I'm sure it happens but not consistently.

You had a problem, they are sending you a new one, so all this does is drag a good companies name through the mud whilst you accuse them of being liars? Do not come here to do this.

~Foz

I don't necessarily agree that all it does is drag a good company through the mud. As a consumer that does not have store front access to jiu jitsu stores, I rely on the forum to see how companies deal with issues.

Let's face it every company makes mistakes, how they correct mistakes is the relevant issue for me as a forum reader.

I know you're an administrator Foz so there's definitely rules that we should follow but that's just my 2 cents.

Bowie,
I have a business as well and send everything via priority.
While I agree that it's the exception rather than the rule, however, it's pretty consistent for packages to take more than 2-3 days to arrive. If you prefer, often works for me as well.
More than once in a while- often.
That's my experience and I've complained enough at the post office to know.
Regards,
FE

I agree, this is a public forum, people should be able to put their problems/opinions here without someone breathing down their neck threatening to dubb or ban them for supposed "spam"

I've bought stuff from JJPG and have always found GIlberto and the crew a delight to deal with. But when I buy stuff from there, it's always been walking into the brick and mortar shop

So can anyone tell me why JJPG uses FedEX? I love JJPG, and I have been a loyal and consistent customer for a few years now. I have spent hundreds of dollars there. Just one thing pisses me off -Using Fedex. WHY?

Fedex takes longer than UPS and is more expensive. For me personally, it is also annoying because their local office (if I miss the shipment) is very far. I think I'm just annoyed right now bc my package which was supposed to come today didn't.

everythin in the states is kinda slow right now because of the snow storm in the east iam having the same issue with nhb gear the goverment has been shut down for like days so tracking has been down for a couple days mine finally just started to update .

just bad timing i ordered stuff from there before and i gotit pretty fast .

JJPG and Gilberto in particular have always been great to me. Shipped packages very promptly and they have gotten to me fast. Gilberto has let me exchange and return things that they told me 'no" to in emails. He also will go above and beyond in helping you try things on and figuring out if its IBJJF legal if you meet him in person. I have nothing but great things to say about him and the JJPG.

Also USPS does not often, or consistently take longer than 3 days for Priority mail. You may have had a handful of bad experiences, but to say that is a gross exaggeration. I deal with USPS every single day. And if you want it tracked then get it confirmed or you can pay the .60 for delivery confirmation...

To join in on the love fest:
JJPG has been really cool with me. Bought a few gis for me an my friends, also had some shorts shipped to Indonesia (other side of the world!) with absolutely no problems. So heads up for overseas/international orders, jjprogear is reliable.

I now own 4 koral gi's ordered from jjpg. I'm impatient when i order stuff and always get it next day or 2day. never had a problem

Yeah, our UPS trucks in Jersey are something like 3 days behind and we didn't get mail service for a few days... winter storm could have something to do with it.
