Jiri left to Mexico +- two weeks ago. Not sure why they made it public information tho, especially with the current situation in LHW and reportedly not confirmed fight yet.

BTW Baseball training was collab with Czech baseball national team, but "eye coordination training" sounds great...

The only reason he is there is to help UFC promote, he isn't fighting or backing up anything. It makes sense for it to be made public information since it appears to be related to promoting the upcoming card.

Jiri is the man.

I'm a huge Pereira fan, but if he is going to move to heavyweight, then the UFC should force him to vacate. I'd love to see Jiri vs Ulberg for the vacant LHW title.

There are three reasons Jiri would be in Mexico City training:

1.) UFC is about to announce his next fight somewhere else and they want him around to promote it (likely reason)

2.) he just wants to attend as a fan and also work cardio

3.) he is a backup for the actual Mexico City event
