Jiri coaches should have not let him continue after he was basically KO'd at the end of round 1 and also getting tooled before that

Yeah, better to have him murder head kick KO'd 10 seconds into the next round.

Rationally we know he shouldn't have been sent back out, but that just isn't how MMA works.

In any event, I don't know how many times we need to see Poatan smash Jiri to the ground to comfortably say he isn't able to take his hits and doesn't belong in there with him.

Rationally, he wasn’t KO’d and it’s the ref’s job to determine if a fight should be stopped. Jiri may have been knocked down, but the is no logical argument for stopping the fight because of it.

I don't want to see jiri get damaged unnecessarily but people cried enough about Goddard stopping the fight . It would have been unbearable if his corner didn't let him go back out

Yeah this thread is some captain hindsight shit. No one complained when Izzy dropped Whittaker hard at the end of round 1 and finished him a round after. Wtf is this?
