Jessica Eye & Jessica-Rose Clark say they would have fought Valentina if the fight was offered.

No doubt in my mind they would lose but probably could do better then that girl Val just fought.

Completely agree. Poor girl never should have been in there, and now she is probably out for a year. Respect for her, none for the UFC, Mario or her fucking coaches.
 
I say give the belt to Valentina and make a tourney with other girls fighting for the title shot.

I wish this girl that Valentina beat the shit out of had some skill. I was impressed by the sheer fact that she hopped up looking like a lawn mower ran her over, and walked to her corner straight as an arrow without so much as a grimace on her face.

She can't fight but FUCK she's tough.

Both of them were set to fight other people. I guess the UFC wanted them for other purposes. Eye vs ZanVant fell apart. Jessy Jess took that fight. Eye took on Faria instead. It makes sense the UFC did not approach either of them for Shevchenko, whether they would have agreed or not.

Shevchenko would have been the massive favorite over both of them of course. She probably would have won in fairly dominant fashion although probably not in the thoroughly bloody beat down fashion she put on Cachoeira.

It would have been stupid, in my opinion, for either Eye or Jess to take the fight with Shevchenko over the people they did fight.

Jess had just fought Bec, another 3-4 weeks to prepare for Shevchenko instead of VanZant would not have helped her and she would have been a massive under dog likely to go 1-1 instead of 2-0. Fighting Shevchenko would likely have put her further behind a potential title shot - she is currently angling towards fighting Alexis Davis.

It would have been a similar situation with Eye but waiting around for a fight instead of getting one after having had VanZant pull out on her. And Eye was already on a long loosing streak too. A decent Split Decision win over Faria instead of a probable beat down from Shevchenko? Eye was lucky to get that BS, and widely panned as the worst (robbery) decision of the year, against Kaufman until it became an NC. Only one legit win due to a busted cauliflower ear in the Smith fight? That would be bad pre-fight IQ.

I agree that both of them would have been better choices if given time and Eye having had a win already, to get ready for a Shevchenko fight, over Cachoeira but under the circumstances neither fight makes sense on multitudes of levels.

Best wishes to Cachoeira on a swift recovery. And a better suited opponent the next time she is ready to fight too.

Valentina is scary, i never seen a chick in mma throw that type of sharp combos, did you see her pull counter? This chick is too good, she walks around 136 pounds soaking wet, and she fought giant girls like amanda nunes and holm and she beat holm and nunes couldnt even hurt her, nunes fought scary and safe.

I knew if valentina fought women her size she would merk them, last fight show it. Jessica eye struggled with beth correia lol

I did indeed see it. She looked so sharp and ferocious against Priscila. Valentina is #MyGirl. I've been championing her from the moment I laid eyes on her. Your post yesterday about her punches compared to Hollys was dead on correct. Valentina is on a different level. Technically she's always been one of the P4P best in WMMA. It was just a matter of getting the correct avenue to showcase it.

It wasn't long ago people were shitting on her and saying Joanna would beat her. Times change quickly and it's good to see many people have finally caught on that's she's one of the most talented Women we've seen in MMA.

She's 135ish out of camp. In it she is around 130. She only cuts 4-5 lbs. Even now at 125lbs, she's not big. Priscila was taller with a larger frame, but a bit more slender.

Yeah, they were not impressed because she couldnt knock oit bigger women, you and i can see she was tiny, and that alone was impressive that she was fighting at a weight and not getting dominated by big girls, she was owning them and hanging with them.

Joanna is actually bigger thsn her, she weighed 140 and cuts to 115; that shows you how good bullet is, man she is something to behold, so,ferocious so sharp on her combos, reflexes of a cat.
 
Lol, neither Clark or Eye are very good. One sided beating from Shevchenko would occur.

I got a fair amount of push-back from JJ fans. Not so much now, of course. Val has some of the best pure striking technique in MMA. Truly the worst part about this is that so many fans know shit about technique, so they argue from emotion. Or just plain stupidity.
