Jeremy Stephens had the most insane schedule for a fighter who never fought for a title

With him officially gone from UFC from 07-21

absurd...........he will prolly add a few of the PFL killers too. He always came off as a meathead sadly but cant deny the competition he fought. Warrior <{JustBleed}> Had some of the best fights and KOs weve seen over the past 2 decades. Hespect

and he lost to every single fighter that was worth their salt

A lot of other fighters would have these fights if the UFC kept em around, even though theyre a .500 fighter

And importantly, he never had a competitive fight with any of the names
SMOKED by aldo, SMOKED by zabit, etc etc

He was a fun fighter, but 19 L's in the UFC is a record that would never be beat.
not even close.

And even his in his losing streak he lost to Aldo, Yair, Zabit, Kattar and Gamrot, not some average fighters

He fought great competition but always fell short when he was given a step up in competition. I think his best win to date is Emmett.

Win or lose, Stephens always had exiting fights. It was unfair to cut him considering the fact that most of his recent loss streak were to hungry, upcoming contenders. UFC could have given him some low ranked opponents and kept him around as a test for young prospects.

He was right on the cusp before the Aldo fight. All went to shit from there lol

Fair point with Roxanne at this point, but Angela Hill has lost insanely close decisions, most of which she should have won imo.
A better example would be that mongoloid Sam Alvey
To be fair he said they let fighters like her stay on the main card. Alvey has mostly been a prelim guy recently, Hill is the complete opposite (she's main card 4 of her last 5 with that lone prelim bout being a featured headline bout).

Gatekeepers that hover around .500 typically see all the top fighters going up as well as going down. They are valuable to the UFC until they start causing headaches.

Solid gatekeeper but never could stand among the elite and he certainly had more than one shot to prove it. Would've been cool to see him finish his career in the UFC though.

Had his moments too. Hurt Aldo, hurt Yair badly and arguably got a 10-8 3rd where he really beat him up, won the 3rd against Zabit, was beating Kattar until he got that elbow to the face

Jim Miller rode a crazy win streak and they robbed him of a title shot. Hes still a company man though , go figure.

Honestly him gettin cut by the UFC might be the best thing for him. He's a guy I could see winning the PFL tourny. Has a way better chance at some wins there.
