It's hard to believe for a 132 pound woman to bench press 320 lbs raw and that too drug free. How is it possible? Genetics? Experience?

Can a natural female (no steroids) really lift that much?

Doesn't seem like it should be possible.

But the world record is real. Apparently she is drug free. It's just hard to believe the world record holder is natural.

Maybe she is natural because if she took roids, then she would gain weight.

That is very impressive. However, is it possible to cycle off the steroids and still maintain that strength level for a certain period of time? But again, that is an impressive lift.

People have been doing it for years. I’m sure she beat people who are juicing without juice though.

That powerlifting form. Easy to press things when you are only going eight inches. Still impressive.

Jen is an absolute beast. If you go by Wilks score, she's the strongest bench presser in the world.

Her arch is almost non-existent. Watch other female lifters do it, especially bench specialists, their backs look like the St. Louis Arch.

I don’t think anyone who competes at that level is 100% natural. Hell, I’d think breathing the same air as Dana Lynn Bailey would cause you to piss hot. But as far as I know, she’s never tested positive.

Its not improbable she is natural. Because the womans talent pool is so shallow, we have a lot of ground to make up for in womens training and results. Sure she isnt as strong as the men at 130lbs but She is still solid.

Fwiw, i have a friend who competes in thd smallest womans division for power lifting and she held a few records. I dont have the heart to tell her i know womens wrasslers her weight with better numbers. Its that shallow currently.

So is it genetics and hardwork that helped Jenn Thompson bench press 325 lbs at 132 lbs? She's stronger than 99% male powerlifters at 132 lbs. She comes in Top 5. That's why it's hard to believe whether she's natural.

She's not as strong in the bench as other 130lbs males? Looking through American Raw records the highest I could find was 155kg bench in a bench only comp and 145kg otherwise: http://usapl.liftingdatabase.com/records-default?recordtypeid=26&categoryid=&weightclassid=1
That's pretty much the same she is putting up. Maybe I missed something. Well, there is this Egyptian guy who put up 211kg last year in the weightclass which is unreal, and highest recorded at that weight I think, but he's a paraplegic with basicly no legs so that hardly counts as a comparison:

I tried looking through IPFs bench records for the 132lbs class but I can't find them RAW.

EDIT: Did find this video of a Russian putting up 170kg (374lbs) in the -59kg (130lbs) class which seems to be the IPF world record:

Although he does look like a dwarf or something. She has pretty normal proportions and a bigger ROM. It would be interesting to know what the top5-10 IPF guys are benching in the 130lbs class.

There is no way for you to know whether she's used PEDs or not.

Go on with you day and just work on improving your own bench, mang.

8 inches? If that's the way you see that, I'm never getting in a dick measuring contest with you.

Drug free I mean ok.

But super impressive and then you had some in the Heavies argue that gabie Garcia benchign 225 for 2 reps was impressive lmfao

We are talking about powerlifting. This is another topic.
Jennifer Thompson really break the male barriers and put male powerlifters to shame.
