Okay help me out guys, how's this fight going to play out because I can not for the life of me figure out how this is going to go. Who wins and how, go!

Hard to predict because you're basically seeing the worst JDS vs the best Rothwell.

JDS overhand right hopefully, but Ben looks like he really wants it so who knows, plus JDS has looked battle worn

Awkward striking by both and for reasons unclear JDS shoots on Rothwell and taps before his head gets torn off.

i think the Cinderella story is about to be over for Ben

he usually loses the stand up battle until for some dumb reason his opponent tries to shoot in on him and ends up leaving their neck out resulting in a choke out, JDS won't do that at least i hope not

I think JDS puts him away. Rothwell was getting boxed up by Barnett for most of their fight, and I don't think JDS is nearly as faded as some believe.

Tough call, cus Junior's looked like a shadow of himself and Ben's looked like his best self. Tough one as a fan too, Junior's my favourite HW but I like Ben too and would like to see him get a title shot though (although UFC seems dead-set against it)

JDS KO round 1. Poor Rothwell is never going to fight for a title.

idk but this fight happening ... and that it's not 100% of people saying it's an absolute lock for JDS ... makes me feel like I'm in bizarro world.

I love JDS, but he's a shell of his former self. He's slower, more gun-shy, and seems to have no back-up plan for when the fight isn't going his way. Rothwell is no spring chicken, but seems to have a newfound confidence that helps turn his skills into weapons. Rothwell by late stoppage.

Fair call actually, so I don't really have any idea either. I'm gonna say Big Ben just because he seems to be on a tear and he submitted Barnett which is ridiculous.

I never bought into the JDS hype.

I think Rothwell wins this, but his current run feels like Boetsch.

JDS will absord a horrible amount of sloppy punishment, Rothwell will endure a lot of pain and never stop, and JDS will win a decision.

Afterwards, he won't be the same fighter. I really don't want to see this. JDS took a lot in the Stipe fight and I think he's on a downward spiral from the accumulated damage and doesn't need more.

How sad is it that we actually have to consider this question?
Still, I'm calling for pre-Cain JDS to appear: JDS by KO RD 1.

I hate to say it, but it really seems like JDS is past his prime and on the down-swing of his career. Rothwell on the other hand is on the up-and-up, and if Overeem was able to drop JDS then I'm sure Ben could hurt him with a clean shot as well. I would like to see JDS get back on track but I haven't had much faith in him recently to be honest. I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt after his... curious performance against Miocic because he underwent knee surgery less than a month after the fight, but he looked completely tentative and weird against Overeem too.

He just doesn't attack with the same urgency and violence that he used to, and he has stopped using the intelligent feinting and set-ups which were responsible for his success in the UFC in the first place. It's a little sad to be honest. JDS's hands actually seem to have gotten worse, not better. Hopefully he can prove me wrong, but I favor Ben in this fight.

Seems like the cumulative punishment JDS has taken may be starting to effect his chin. Has been getting rocked more often from shots he was walking through before, and we can all agree he expends no effort in defending himself.

I actually could see Rothwell putting his lights out.
