JDS vs. Overreem early stoppage

This fight was clearly an early stoppage. JDS got knocked down in a similar manner in the second Cain fight, then even WORST in the third Cain fight. The refs let JDS continue, and he actually caught a second wind and landed nice shots on Cain in both fights.

Now the third Cain fight should have been stopped in the third, even though zombie JDS still made it to the 5th. The Overreem fight should NOT have been stopped. It was the second round, both guys were finally warmed up, and things were heating up. JDS looked good in the fight, as did Overreem. JDS wasn't close to being done after we saw what he can go through with the Cain trilogy.

JDS was standing up when they called the fight. Ridiculous, and robbery of a former champion who has came back from worse.

I think he was done. And, iirc, JDS only stood up after the fight was stopped. If it wouldn't have not been stopped, AO would've continued with GnP or maybe even brought back his infamous guillotine.

He was rocked at first, just like the second Cain fight, but he recovered and started to stand up as they called the fight. He IMMEDIATELY objected to the refs. He was ready to go, bad stoppage.

you don't know that and neither does the referee. you have to make stuff up to justify this stoppage. JDS is conscious and getting up. it will only matter how many punches Overeem throws at him if he is wobbled or legitimately hurt by them. most fights don't end there anyway, IDK why this should.

Doubt it. Reem was very cautious in that fight, and JDS gets very aggressive after being rocked and being on the defensive, in survival mode. JDS would most likely of started throwing uppercuts, hooks, and elbows, then Reem would have backed off and the fans would have got to see who really was the better man.
