JDS is not back (kind of long).

Not to mention Cain's last fight he displayed awful cardio. Yes above sea level ... but Werdum who is much older displayed better cardio in comparison.

And that fight happened close to the new USADA testing standards.

Coincidence? Don't know.

All I know is I would not be shocked if JDS/Cain fight again eventually and this time either JDS does catch Cain early and KO's him again OR Cain gets tired while winning and in later rounds, JDS takes over.

Basically I don't think Cain beating JDS again is a guarantee at all.
I love how people are saying cains cardio went away after usada, as if thats more likely than the fact hes fighting 7000ft in the sky you morons.
Its called accumulating to the altitude, its a very real thing, ask lennox lewis or bj penn.

So you think Velasquez was taking drugs that were boosting his cardio? What substance would that be?

When it comes to adjusting to altitude, the difference between 2 months and 2 weeks acclimating can be major. In this case, I believe the obvious explanation is also the right one.

He could of been doing epo,or there was a recent one with sharapova with that heart medication that supposedly helps your cardio. But honestly the reason cains cardio went to shit is pretty simple. He got punched in the face and couldnt rest not even for a moment. If you watch any of his other fights he is taking guys down and imposing his will. The werdum fight was the first fight he couldnt do that.He was constantly eating a jab and knees in the clinch and when it went to the ground he was couldnt settle and werdum was working right back to his feet. Its easy to have great cardio when your figthing at the pace your used to.Look at jds he looked fresh in the 5th against ben

His footwork was vastly improved I though.

He seemed more much unpredictable about which way he would circle and I thought before he did less circling and more straight backing up.

He needs to put his hands up when he circles as he gets caught the most when he circles out

Too lazy today to read your text (and the small parts I read were uninteresting) but let me ask you this: who can beat JDS? I think the list is pretty short and boils down to: Overeem and Cain.

JDS recently beat Miocic and Rothwell. I think JDS would easily beat Werdum as it's a terrible match up for Werdum. Do you think that Arlovski would beat JDS? Or Hunt, or Browne? Or #10 ranked (on Sherdog) Minakov?

JDS isn't "back", he was never gone. Just because he has lost to the #2 and #3 ranked fighter doesn't mean that he was gone or that he's a terrible fighter.

The funny thing is that you have JDS ranked at #5 - who's ahead of him? If we go by Sherdog's ranking, he's ranked #4 after Werdum, Cain and Overeem. Let's say you rank Miocic ahead of JDS (even though JDS recently beat him), there's still 1 more fighter you are ranking ahead of JDS. So who is it? Arlovski? That would be a joke.

What holes? What recent fights?
His loss to Verdum, he didn't only gas but was getting beaten up in the stand up. If you're able to neutralize his ground game he's normal. JDS also showed that in their first fight (admittedly not recent)

Tybura's striking was super sharp and he gradually took over the fight and was dealing real damage by the last round. He just started slow. I overestimated where he is at a little but that doesn't mean that everything I said is totally wrong.
Yes, it was, but if you want to keep being a moron for no reason, be my guest.

There are so many obvious things you said that apply to any fighter but let me just point somethings that have been said:

a) Its very hard to take JDS down even more so hold him there
b) Not a lot of people at HW have the hability to push him against the cage, Cain and maybe Werdum

JDS biggest hole in his game is not being able to fight while backing away and he usually back straight instead of circling away. There was a time when I saw him correcting those mistakes and using kicks/muaythai, but after the Cain fights it seems he just went as a boxer.

To say he can´t be champion of such a weak division is not reasonable

And there is no way to know how Werdum MT will fair against Junior

We were all wrong about JDS being on the decline.

He looked good on the heavy bag, but let's wait and see how he does against someone who won't stand in front of him and get punched.

Bj Penn? I love BJ PEnn ... but he is the last person anyone should ask questions about when it comes to Cardio.

In a recent interview bj penn said the biggest thing he noticed from training at jacksons is the altitude (which isn't as high as where cain fought) so thats a guy with great cardio saying the altitude got to him for the first couple weeks.
Maybe it was usada brah.

JDS can be champion again but it doesn't mean he will hold the belt for long. Ben Rothwell just didn't have the technique or skillset to deal with JDS range.

Just out of interest it took me 67 seconds to read my post, people who say it is too long evidently have an attention span less than that.

I think he lost to Overeem because JDS had given up hope that Overeem was going to fight him and instead just do circles around him all night and about the time JDS dropped his hands and said fuck it Overeem engaged

It's a chicken and egg question: I suspect a major reason he was eating many more shots than usual was that he was fighting less effectively at that altitude.

As a JDS fan, I don't see how this fight really affects JDS's stock either way. Rothwell is basically a poor man's Shane Carwin and JDS beat him exactly the same way he did Carwin. And this is when everyone thought JDS was a world beater. Don't understand why his style was monumental back then but is supposedly sh*t now but hey, it's Sherdog. JDS is a legitimate threat to every HW in the top 5 and everyone else is just padding for his record

"so thats a guy with great cardio saying ..."

What the ....????

BJ Penn is a guy known for great cardio???

JDS could definitely be champ again, he's still a top 3 HW.
