JDS crushing cans in the AEW ring right now

I just saw a legit stat today that JDS has the highest TDD in HW UFC history.

I was say that's probably inflated by Cain shooting on him with the goal of pushing him to the cage, not finishing the takedown for 10 rounds.

But on JDS' debut... I'm glad to see JDS have another revenue stream that doesn't involve real fighting, because at this point he really needs to retire from getting punched in the head.

I just wish they wouldn't get shoot fighters to try to work shoot punches - it just always looks awful.

If Cain could have put him on his back he would have. The fence fighting he did precisely because JDS can rarely ever get taken down.

Seeing old fat Jericho still wrestling makes me sad.

He looks like Axl Rose now.
you dont respect the gut of jericho?

If you watch those fights, you'll see Cain wasn't shooting with the thought of getting him on the ground. If Junior tripped or got caught sleeping, yeah Cain would have grounded him, but he wasn't selling out to finish those takedowns.

Did he steal the rockbottom
No the "rock bottom" was already a common wrestling move taken from judo called "ura nage." The Rock using it as a finisher was actually kinda boring, pretty basic move.

Cain was shooting with the intent of taking him down, while also intending to chain wrestle him towards the fence if the takedown got blocked. The latter is what happened most of the time. The few times the takedown worked he did put JDS on his back. He failed just like your intent to discredit JDS' TDD.

is jds going to fight mma soon? is he going to sign bellator??

Isn't pro wrestling actually harder on the body? Aren't they typically contracted to do like 300 shows a year or more?

His work punches were terrible, he has happy feet and for fuck sakes, he kept on smiling throughout this.

Yeah kinda hurts MMA fighters' badass image if they go in there and throw softer punches than the divas.

JDS looks pretty good out there. Definitely back on the juice. Looks like his 2012-13 self. The worked punches could use some tuning up, though.
how very TNA of them

maybe Tito can come out and fold his arms
Nah, JDS is actually active here.

All Teedo did in TNA was pose, argue with Rampage, and hit him with a hammer. They were basically just promoting Rampage vs Tito for a Bellator PPV, which never happened.

At least WWE didn't sign JDS just to book him to lose a worked MMA "fight" against Lesnar or anything.
