My buddy got 5 years for first degree robbery, with no prior criminal convictions. He got out in 2 and half. Still, that’s a long ass time.

oh definitely. but man, people with mental health problems probably don't see that type of option as you and i see it. and mental health is pretty wide and fucked. like the DSM isn't something easy that makes it clear cut you have X or Y. It's like you show 25% X but also 30% Z and 10% Y. That's why its hard to diagnose people when they don't have simple symptoms.
