Jason Herzog making UFC history, letting a fighter get dropped like 8 times, no stoppage. Yet stops Lewis/Tallison as Tal got to his feet.

Defended him for the Lewis stoppage but god sake last night he messed up completely.

Which one?

I would say 1st round at 23 second of video it could've been called but there were 10 seconds left. We've seen worse knockdowns at the end with fighters that go to corner though, so it's kind of a saved by the bell thing. Every other knockdown I didn't think was very bad, this guy seems prone to them either fighting style or weak chin.

I feel like stopping prelim guys sooner is the best unwritten rule they should have because they don't have much to gain from toughing it out. But the fact Yahya got the first knockdown (well kinda) the 2nd round atleast shows he was still in the fight.

Herzoink should be drug tested immediately.

I agree some of the earlier knockdowns weren't so bad, but by the time it got to the one you mentioned, he's falling onto his leg like CroCop and his eyes are starting to shut. I can't entertain the "there was only 10 seconds left" argument at that point. Cumulatively it was just too much. Even without the follow up shots.

That's the one where I think is closest to call. But also you have the clapper clapping that the round is almost over, the guy knocked down has his hands up by the time you're thinking about the stoppage. It's still understandable why he let it ride. I think that's still the only knockdown he should've called, but again not so bad atleast to me considering the context.

I can't agree. But okay. Maybe that's the perspective Herzog was seeing things from.
