Jared definitely isn't fighting Marvin. I wouldn't mind seeing Brunson or Whittaker take him next though.

It was a foolish question, and now the current rankings Cannonier is ahead of Marvin.
 
  1. I know it's just the nature of the average sherdogger to complain about everything possible, but at least we know that with Cannonier we have someone coming in there that's trying to knock Izzy the fuck out.

    We really haven't had anyone go at Israel like that since the Izzy vs Gastelum and Whittaker 1 fights.

    Sure Jared isn't the most technically equipped person to be favored to get the job done but listening to him, I don't think he believes or gives a fuck about that.

    People want to see Adesanya against grapplers but if they can't grapple successfully then it's boring. People want to see Israel against Robert but when it's a chess match it's boring.

    People have been complaining about Izzy's recent fights being not so exciting. Certain posters go overboard but I can understand the perspective. This matchup should definitely bring the action. I expect to see blood.

 
I mean, why even ask Jared that question after the post fight interview with DC?
 
Haha Dana the goof was distracted ordering more snow for his driveway but Jared made him pay attention to him.

I mean, yeah. This and only this.

Whatever people feel about Izzy, we're now at a point where technique is not the way to beat this guy. Atleast not going technique for technique. His opponent already lost the time this gameplan came up. Cannonier will bring the unorthodox. He'll bring the stuff outside of the conventional rules, long reach and fuck you power.

Izzy probably styles on him, but this is a title fight im excited for. Not the Strickland shit. That would only be entertaining pre fight. Atleast with Izzy/Jared, someone will stare at the lights asking the ref what happened.
 
Reminded me of when Stipe called for his title shot after beating Arlovski. Jared knows how to use his opportunity on the mic.
Great fucking callout and in Izzy's latest video he said he wants to fight Cannonier next.

I was a bit worried that he was gonna get skipped over by Strickland.
Apparently Paradigm Sports is trying to get Izzy/Strickland going since both are under their management.

Lol yeah this is the consequence of media getting shunned by Dana and the fighters for doing their homework and ask the good questions. In other major sports the athletes are forced to talk to media, but in MMA the athlete can just say "fuck you, im not answering to your quesrions", which brings more realness to it, but also scares the good reporters away while attracting reporters like this guy.

It is what it is i guess.

Also, that pitful "thanks" at the end was the worst lol. Atleast go ahead and laugh with the other reporters. Now you just made it known it was a serious question and you are ashamed of the outcome.

I don't know if I can completely agree with this. Maybe not technique for technique but you definitely need technique AND strategy to beat Adesanya.

Jan was able to execute. And honestly Whittaker came close.
 


Wish he would have spent more time talking about his power crystals. Apparently they vibrate at certain energies and Jared can feel that within him. Not sure exactly where he puts them but seems to be working !

Technique is obviously needed. Can't bumrush this dude. I meant "technique for technique" as in chess match, tit for tat, round stealing tactics. Takes alot of technique at this level. Guys are nervous coming forward against Izzy because of his lethal counters, so they construct a gameplan of exploiting his holes and "out technique" this guy. No forced movement. I sense the tension in his fights because i myself got ktfo off a counter years ago. Sparring the same dude again def gave me some butterflies. Tried to avoid the same fate but got fucked up anyways lol.

Jan did a great job, size only came in to play in the championship rounds. He def beat this guy with technique, but also with attributes. Jared are bringing some of the same attributes. Reach and power.

People are overlooking the fact that Izzy was nervous of Jans power.

Deserves it these dudes are so fucking lame with the questions.
Ask Cannonier what he thinks of the Freemasons that would be way more fun !
