It actually isn't given Trump made a promise about it. I know it's normalized to accept his daily lies and pretend they didn't happen, but that doesn't actually change the situation. It's very much like the relationship between an abused wife and an alcoholic batterer for Trump and his followers- the wife gets lied to and treated like a ho, yet she continually enables him and makes excuses for his behavior. His followers insist he can do the things he says, so it's time to see if he can.

There is no hard and fast time BTW- there are a lot of market factors that could change it before a year. There is also that he is making tariffs which he has actually voiced that we will "feel the pain" for. Anyone thinking that won't make things worse is dreaming.

It’s going to get so much worse. Trumps approval rating will be in the low thirties within two years tops. Wouldn’t it be nice if we lived in a country that didn’t have the memory of a goldfish.
