A friend of mind who lived and played music in LA for a long time says rumor going around there is that Perry has some type of early onset dementia. Really hope that’s not the case.

That sucks. I had a vague memory of you mentioning you had tickets when I saw this news. I got to see Janes a couple of times. Once on their own and once at Lollapalooza. Back then their stage show had some theatrics with props and dancers and whatnot. I was curious about this tour, if the 2 bands would play anything together. The guys from Love and Rockets collaborated with Perry on a Porno for Pyros song (Porpoise Head)

Maybe you could get tickets to Psychedelic Furs / JAMC instead? I always wanted to see the Furs. And of course, JAMC has always been a favorite.

I’ve never seen the Furs either. I’ll have to think about it, they are playing near me but it’s a bit inconvenient location and time.
Did you hear that Soul Coughing is back together?! Can’t imagine that lasts long either. Unfortunately they are skipping WI altogether, which is super common lol. A lot of bands do Minneapolis then Chicago, and skip WI altogether. Jack White is on a weird tour where he’s playing smaller venues in some cities that don’t see a lot of action, I’m really hoping maybe he’ll announce something. I am really digging his new album. Saw the White Stripes live in 2005, but never seen Jack solo.
