I don’t know if it was more the high altitude affecting or his age catching up to him but Jan’s cardio really set him back yesterday.

I am fully convinced that the Jan in his championship run would have knocked Pereira out in the second round. He was clearly the quicker and more effective striker in the phonebooth yesterday. It wasn’t until he was exhausted that Pereira started landing his shots.

I was disappointed in the submission attempts in the first round. A skilled submission specialist would've tapped Alex.

Jan was in elevation for weeks, it’s hard to hold a huge guy down, he got ripped to the body, he got stung with jabs, he got his legs beat up. Glad the judges didn’t give him that on a last minute TD that meant nothing
