What the fuck do you mean they "approved the footage?" The Capital Police are in no position to bar Tucker playing footage that he got handed to from a Senator.
But if you want to know what the Capital Police actually thought about Tucker's segment, you can find that article here:
https://www.cnn.com/2023/03/07/politics/capitol-police-tucker-carlson-january-6-footage/index.html
Surprise, they all think Tucker is a lying dumbfuck. So let's here some comments that the Chief of Police had about Tucker's segment:
-“Last night an opinion program aired commentary that was filled with offensive and misleading conclusions about the January 6 attack,”
-Carlson’s show didn’t reach out to the police department “to provide accurate context.”
-“The program conveniently cherry-picked from the calmer moments of our 41,000 hours of video. The commentary fails to provide context about the chaos and violence that happened before or during these less tense moments,”
Boy, look at all that praise they are heaping on your boy.
What amazes me most about this story though, is that you and Tucker think your really poorly thought out lies were gonna work here. I mean, there was probably the understanding that the only people gullibble enough to believe the segment, were the very same people that Tucker admitted to lying to in a sworn statement. That doesn't give you pause? That Tucker, under oath in a deposition, admitted to lying to his viewers about Jan. 6th, and did so because he was afraid that if Fox didn't push the lie that Donny won the election, they'd loose viewers to Newmax. But you're gonna come in here an suggest that not only is Tucker honest, but the capital police back his version of events? Christ.
I'll tell you what kid, no one picked a more accurate user name than you did.
