It is true that these ballots ultimately bounced back uncast.

In other words, there were ballots incorrectly sent to old addresses, but they weren't used for fraud.

Notice when these fraud claims were brought forth to judges in the courts, they all fell flat even after a few dozen attempts.

But like I say, a hearing proper does allow for some testimony from different perspectives. This just isn't a hearing in that sense, is all.

I don't subscribe to most of the counter arguments, and I get the objection to allowing nuttiness in there that is going to "muddy the waters." But there are plenty of nuances at play in this whole mess that are not being given any sort of platform in in this "hearing," which really does make it more of a performative gesture than a legitimate hearing, and that's no way to arrive at the truth, either.

I hate that I always end up on this side of things in these sorts of discussions, because like I say, not only do I know very well that Trump didn't win the election, but I understand fully that the drumbeat of "fraud" that he and his accolades were (and still are) constantly throwing out there are entirely counter to and dangerous threats to open and free democracy.

It's just that... I sort of think that when we have these sorts of responses, the endeavor to crumble the foundations of democracy has kind of succeeded in some small but significant way.
