It's just a local vs non-local thing.

It's everywhere in the world. Even within one city it's one borough vs another borough. Within one borough it's one street vs another street. It's a human thing, this petty tribalism.

It's just funny to me, because it's beyond absurd and weird, an Italian calling another Italian "a Moroccan".

Yeah, I get that it's "the north vs the south" thing in Italy, but we can't escape it.
