Jiri was not given favorable matchmaking. They threw him in the with the best guys they could give him and he put them in the fuckin ground.

Meh... personally I don't really give credence to this lienal champ nonsense. Jiri and Hill beat the same guy to earn the title. As far as I am concerned they both had equal claims to the belt.

I suspect Hill is better because Jiri is so reckless and easy to hit. But I have been wrong before.

I really hope this is the fight they making. I want answers.

Reyes is better than any win Jamahal had pre Glover fake belt shot. Lol Jamahals resume is doodoo. Beating Stosic, Abreu, Jimmy Crute, Johny Walker isn't impressive at all.

Jiri finishing Oezdemir who was 7th in ranking in his debut only guy to KO him standing even Rumble said he never dropped Volkan in sparring was probably more impressive than anything Jamahal did pre Glover fake belt shot.

Jamahals best pre Glover win was a post ACL/MCL tear Thiago who was 1-4 in his last 5.

Jamahal hasn't proven he can beat an elite LHW in their prime who isn't in their 40s. Jiri at least did with Reyes who was number 3 ranked and later Rakic who was ranked 4. Jamahal has only beaten a 43yo Glover who was more focused on coaching Alex after losing the belt to Jiri and a broken down ACL/MCL tear Thiago Santhos. His next best win is probably Johny Walker LMAO
 
Jiri can't afford to fight face first in this one. Hill is sharp and can crack from odd angles.

I think I'd have to believe Jiris chin, pressure, and endurance will continue to hold up. I picked wrong against Tony Ferguson so many times because I couldn't accept that the style they have could work for years on end and I kept being wrong and I'll finally bend the knee.

Jiri via awesome comeback after Hills confidence plummets when Jiri doesn't slow down.

Why don't you list Jamahal's wins and how they aged? LMAO WTF are you talking about? You're acting like Jamahal has a great resume his resume is HORRENDOUS

Stosic - 2 fight losing streak, got cut after Jamahal loss

Abreu - lost 2 of last 3, cut after Jamahal loss

OSP - 2-3 since, only real win was Nzechuku arguably lost to a completely DONE version of Shogun who shouldn't have even been fighting

Crute - was just finished lost to Menifield after Jamahal fight and retired

Johny Walker - LOL

Post ACL/MCL tear Thiago - lost 8 of his last 9, only win a 48-47 staring contest against the above Johny Walker LMAO

Oezdemir is 3-2 since Jiri KO. Losses to Ankalaev and a 29-28 to Krylov is hardly bad losses. Meanwhile he just KOd cold Johny in 2 minutes and Johny was a top 2 win by far for Jamahal before he fought Glover.

i dont think Jamahal is prepared for the unorthodox shit Jiri does. he's unpredictable and people are just writing him off because Poatan figured out how to counter his style. keep in mind Jiri was on a huge winning streak prior to losing to Alex.
seeing as how Jamahal's style is more rigid and straightforward, he also keeps his chin out more. Jiri's chin is exposed but he moves weird so most people cant find it too well. both have very good power, but i think Jiri's chin is a bit better.
i think itll be a war. leaning towards a Jiri KO/TKO, possibly a sub. not gonna be easy though.

Just shows you how shit the division has been aside from a few guys.

The fact that Walker, Smith (until recently), Volkan are marque wins these days to get a title shot is just gross.
 
I think it is a toss up. Jiri fights like a crazy person. I don't think Hill is highly skilled but people tend to underrate him a lot.
 
Should happen sooner rather than later. This matchup feels overdue.
