Turner needs to move up 2 weight classes and stop this nonsense.. I'm tired of seeing his giant ass fighting LWs

Turner isn't exactly dominating though, he was getting beat on the regionals and is losing at roughly the same rate in the UFC.

Paddy Pimblett is on a 5 fight win streak too, should he get a top 5 opponent too?

Level of opposition matters. It's really not too much to ask for BSD to beat someone in the #6-11 range before he gets a bigger fight. Beat someone like Turner or Hooker (depending on if Hooker is healthy enough to fight any time soon) and then it's much more reasonable for a top 5 guy to consider taking a fight with him.

BSD is facing better competition than paddy, and he is starching his competition, finishing then all. It's a bit of a weak comparison, no? If not for cases like BSD's, then when exactly would you be willing to speed up a guys trajectory? How much more impressive could BSD have been thus far? We live in a world where guys like Magomedov get shots at ranked strickland, aliskerov was booked to fight ranked costa and Imavov, Khamzat was given burns after 2 WW wins, etc etc etc. I don't see why you wouldn't want to push a guy like BSD who represents a country the UFC is trying to break into, is undefeated in the weight class, is on the second longest streak, and is a highlight machine.

It’s a good fight and it makes sense rankings wise both coming off big KO victories.

You could also go BSD vs Gamrot/RDA winner or Benny both of those are big steps up but I think it’s clear they are a step below the truly elite at LW

I’d really like to see BSD vs Fiziev but I’m not sure when he’s going to come back maybe mid/late summer but I think BSD should fight before then

Potentially BSD vs Moicano/Dober winner for a blood and guts banger but that would be a pretty lateral step.

There’s tons of great matchups for BSD

This is the fight to make, but I have my doubts about Jalin's ability to prepare correctly, make weight, etc. He might just be too big for the division. I don't want a competitive fight for 1-2 rds and then Turner gasses badly. I feel like that won't tell us a lot about BSD's level.

Good man. I enjoy seeing him lose, and I don't have anything personally against him, just obvious that he doesn't belong at LW.

didn't he make weight on short notice recently for the Green fight ?

I don't really have any issues with BSD fighting Turner. Calling Turner out for being a consummate loser or whatever doesn't really tell the whole story. Sure he isn't the most consistent guy, but he's fresh off a dominant short-notice win and his two losses prior to that were contentious Split Decisions. I scored the Gamrot fight for him.

IMO he's a decent step up for Benoit who is young and still visibly developing.

Based on what?

I am a typical sherdogger. I want two fighters who are both ranked higher than each other to fight

Way to go and show you didn't read the OP not any of the comments and just talked for talking's sake.

gamrot is scheduled vs RDA next. There is no realistic option except Turner

why u acting like a bitch for no reason? simmer down, lil boy

Dariush is adamant about fighting elite competition despite the skid so I'd rather see BSD fight him since it'll tell us more if BSD is just another Carlos Diego Feriera or if he's gunning for Gaethje's head as BMF.

I'm being picky but BSD has a pretty impressive and dominate win streak I feel like the win over Frevola is enough to warrant a bigger step up.

Didn't see Dariush is out till Summer. Well LW feels outrageously clogged so I guess this is the best fight for either guy.
I like this logic alot. I feel Turner has a bit more to prove at lw after Hooker/Gamrot setbacks, and BSD's streak is impressive enough to merit something better imo. Maybe he could fight the loser of Oliveira v Tsuryukian (assuming it happens) if they're ready earlier than Beneil?

Goes without saying Turner vs BSD is probably an electric fight, though.

There are definitely worse match-ups out there, especially if everyone else's dance card is full. BSD is performing beyond even my expectations as a fan and Jailin needs to reestablish his momentum.

He started out at 170. As long as he doesn't miss weight again I have zero issues with him at 155. The weight bully narrative is a tired one.
Im pretty sure he doesn’t weigh an insane amount for a lightweight but he’s missed weight in his last two fights, most people don’t know about the last fight cause he made it on the second attempt but that’s two failures in 2 fights, he’s clearly struggling to make the division, he was on his way to a clear victory against hooker until he started getting touched up and his cardio started failing him, two attributes directly impacted by weight cutting

Fuck yeah book that fight. Excellent fight. I like both dudes, but I think the Frenchman wins that.

Yeah he made it on like 8 or 9 days notice against green. He’s never missed weight before that. Weight bully accusations are lame
He literally needed a second try to make the weight against bobby
