It's pretty amazing how U Fight Cheap managed to ruin two sports by impoverishing MMA fighters enough to become shit boxers.

Jake Paul wouldn't have a boxing career if he didn't have elderly midget wrestlers to feast on.

Do you think they should keep paying perry or something? What a weird stance.

Perry makes a million dollars per fight and isn't in the UFC, nor does MMA.

Bahdi is only effective in that infight, Sylve will easily control him with his lead hand and as soon as he feels threatened, he will come out with his pivot, whether it was a roll under pivot or a slip pivot. I expect totally domination by H2O.

Oh, lol, wtf. I can't believe that's a legal drink.

The closest thing I've had to something that hardcore is probably Absinthe in Paris.
I also had Absinthe...what a fucking let down, aside from getting smashed from hardly drinking much, none of what I was told about the drink came to fruition lol. It tastes like shit and results in a hell of a hangover...never again lol.

I'll be cheering for Mike, the Paul Bros need to fuck the fuck off.

That said, I've never seen Mike Perry actually box, I may be sorely disappointed.

Extremely biased take. From Perry himself, he was close to 200 pounds on fight week. That means he's not a small guy by any means, and doesn't walk around dramatically less than Jake Paul.

Jake himself has weighed in recently at 185. It's basically a WW Vs a MW. Like say, GSP Vs Bisping.

Is Paul bigger? Of course, but Perry is not the "much" smaller man no, that's pure hyperbole. There's a size difference but hardly an insurmountable one.

It's not insurmountable but it's significant. Perry is legit a medium sized 170lber at best and Jake's a real solid sized 185er. Walk around weight doesn't mean a ton because weight is super relative to body fat % and what time of day you weighed yourself can fluctuate over 5lbs sometimes. Paul is a solid 15-20lbs bigger of muscle and bone. Paul's been super calculated about how he boxes even when it's 14-8 MMA fighters.

I was HYPED until I realised it's not bareknuckle.
Perry giving up his superpower makes me sad. :(

Jake Paul probably getting the winner of Uriah Hall & JCC Jr

I think Paul wins this. As much as I can't stand him, he seems to have better boxing than just about all the MMA guys. I only want to see him box Poatan. That guy's fists must be made of hammers.

Jake Paul had went up to like 220+ for the Mike Tyson fight.

He's 1-2 weight classes higher than Perry. He's always fighting undersized non-boxers.

Jake has better boxing than guys who are some combination of
  • Being much older/washed than he is
  • Being much smaller than he is
  • Being more of a grappler than a stiker
Ben Askren fit all 3 categories. Perry is probably his biggest challenge, but Jake still has a pretty big height/weight advantage.

Agreed, he keeps talking about this journey to become a world champ, yet continues to take fights that wont get him there. He says he is on a mission from god to save the sport of boxing...sigh 90% of his audience are not even boxing fans as boxing fans would not pay to watch him disrespect the sport.

Honestly he is a better boxer than Perry and he is the rightful favourite but I hope that Perry pulls it off and beats the shit out Jake he is just one unlikable person on every level.
