Jairzinho Rozenstruik

I don't know man, Rozenstruik is too lazy with his phenomenal striking.

I really believe he is a phenomenal striker but in his last fights he was too scared of getting hit, too lazy and slow...

Gane is future Champion.

Casual lol.
You're easily impressed by Gane jumping on his toes between strikes. In regards to Frozenstruck he has not shown me anything that resembles even competent striking let alone "top level" striking.

Like a basically said, when him dominating a world class kickboxer on the feet didnt count as competent striking to you, then you are as casual as they come.

Heavyweight kickboxing is a total wasteland.

Here are all his finishes in the UFC. Nothing in this video screams high level if I'm being honest he is a club level guy fighting American uber drivers that can't take a punch.

I think he has a hard time adapting to MMA. Keep in mind before his fight with Reem he only had one MMA fightw that went the distance, everybody else he was knocking out. Thats not a lot of experience. Reem then took him to school with the grappling but still.got ktfoed. Then he got flurried by Francis (something that would barely happen let alone work in kickboxing). Then he beat another competent striker in JDS. And then hot outpointed by Gane whose style seems to be very counterintuitive in a HW division.
His defense just hasnt fully transformed into MMA, he used to rely a lot on his chin which you can do with big gloves because with little headmovement and blocking you barely ever get hit clean.

JDS and Reem are uber drivers?

He is a fighter who has to think 1 minute before he throws a shot.
There are a lot of 1 minute fighters.
1 minute fighters are fighters with slow thinking.
If the pace is too high he gets knocked out. He will have always problems with faster guys.

Which world class kickboxee did roznstruik dominate?

He knocked out Abena and Adegbuy, who are currently ranked #6 and #3 HW kickboxers worldwide.

Yes he has beaten some top kickboxers. He has relied mostly on countering and his own heavy hands to put them down though. Does thta make him.a world class kickboxer? I would expect more mastery in terms of skill such that the likes of gane and overeem would not be able to more than hold their own against him.

What you define world class?

That term I would tend to apply more to mastery of the entire kickboxing fight game and techniques skill wise. I concede he was very effective with his power but that's not the same thing to me.

I mean thats an evasive statement. Sure Jairzinho never won a Glory title or something comparable but he was an elite kickboxer before joining the UFC. What parts of the techniques didnt He master in your opinion? Or did you mean in his MMA fights?

In what way was I evasive? I stated my argument clearly didn't I? In order to be world class my definition is that the kickboxer has to be a master skills wise and control his opponents form pure skill. I don't mean he has not mastered basic kicks or punches- of course he has. But what I mean is he practises everything at a master level - where whatever he does is held up by other fighters as a master class on how to do it. Like a saenchai or a samart even to this day.

A master is outclassing them and making them look bad skill wise. But what rosenstruik did and did well was apply his brute force to knock his opponent out. Very effective and im not denying that. But he ain't no saenchai.

If strictly speaking "world classe kickboxer" mean one of the best kickboxers in the world, then there are a couple of top contenders in Glory who fight just like Rozenstruik. Mark Hunt was also relatively similar.

Actually, Rozenstruik is the perfect example of a modern HW kickboxer. Gane would look special in Glory.
