Thanks!A very ordinary fighter who was cut and since returning has looked surprisingly better. He's also a jack of all trades type.

Should be an easy fight for Zalal, Jack is under sized and out skilled.
He beat Valiev right after Timur beat Barcelos though, so it's not like he only beat cans. The Simon fight was a very flat showing but Ricky was peaking at the time and seeme like a tough matchup for an all-rounder like Shore who has dodgy wrestling.
The Zalal fight is interesting for me because he was an overhyped prospect himself during his first run (pretty sure he was the favorite in most if not all of his losses) after beating the likes of Jordan Griffin, Lingo and Peter Barrett, prelim level fighters who didn't find much success in the UFC.
Right now he seems to have completely turned things around, but it's a very small sample size comprised of a pretty good win in Quarantillo, and a can crush vs Errens.
I like shore and think he's very talented, but I agree that he's a bit soft at 145lbs and he just doesn't seem to have violent intentions or power. Still, this fight with zalal is one of the more interesting fights on the card for me.
I've come to the conclusion that a lot of UK fighters don't know how to cut weight properly.
Shore was not a big bantamweight, but said the cut was too hard and moved up to be an undersized, outstrengthed, featherweight who's a bit soft and fluffy come fight night.
Nathaniel Wood was a small bantamweight that did the same and is now a tiny featherweight.
Lone'er Kavanagh hasn't moved up but has missed weight at 125 on the regional scene but is easily the smallest flyweight on the roster.
UK fighters need to learn how to cut weight properly because some of these guys would make waves at the lower weighclasses but are likely to get lost in the shuffle constantly fighting bigger, stronger guys.
Wish he was good, but he's not great anywhere. Jack of all trades type. I think if he can't beat Zalal he gers cut
Not having a real wrestling presence in that country is part of the reason they have a hard time cutting weight tbf.
I was cutting in highschool so had I went and fought I would have had the knowledge.
No excuse for not being able to do it correctly nowadays, but they never experienced it, it seems.
I have zero idea who Zalal even is and I mildly know the name of Jack Shore :X

Cool - I'll be checking him out extra much this cardZalal is a pretty good fighter. Got cut, then came back. Lost to Topuria in his first go.

Not championship guys but way better than most Dana White Card Filler Series guys.
I like the kid so I hope he wins too sir.I don't think Shore missed weight before, but I think that's what they thought about his weight classes that he have to move up.
Not sure if it's a good decision for him, but a win today can change that narrative quick.
Shore is better than Zalal pound for pound imo.
But this is at FW so. But Shore is no easy fight for anybody and I still think he can beat anybody at BW.
But Shore is better skilled than Zalal. This fight could go either way. Zalal is pretty good too so.
No, He is not, like I told you he belongs to 135, Zalal is just one level below ilia in grappling but he is very good.
Not understanding such interest in such mid level fighter. I'm pretty sure UFC is giving Zalal the job of beating fighters who aren't UFC level to cut them
Just cuz they aren't Ankaleev, doesn't mean they are mid.
You seem mad or something from the other thread
