Izzy vs Khamzat

Khamzat is a bad match up for just about anyone. His pressure style and relentless takedowns/ground game is a huge threat. Izzy is an elite striker, but he lacks one strike stopping power. That leaves the door open for Khamzat to survive long enough in each round of the fight to make it messy and get a W via decision or stoppage on the ground.

It's a great fight and with the way MMA fans treat losses, I'd just assume they book it sooner rather than later. Both guys fight often and always look to finish. That's all I ask.

Takedown threat opens up a whole new dynamic in striking and I believe it’s the only way to beat Izzy at MW, mixing up pressure wrestling with high level striking. Enter Khamzat.

The uppercut he KOed Aliskerov with was also a thing of beauty.

Gastelum and Vettori looked just fine against Izzy and could’ve won those fights. It’s not like he’s invincible. Romero’s fight was very competitive as well. Styles make fights. Khamzat has a good style to beat Izzy. I’m not saying he will, I’m saying that he has a chance

He has really good form and speed on his punches and kicks. But he can be reckless and wild at time, which can get him caught in the future if he's not careful.
