I have been critical of Izzy lately(related to his last bout/promo of it), but I do appreciate his statement here along with the handling of the whole situation and I immediately got reminded of this situation back in 2021 while reading through it which is really sad one considering Vake has a young daughter
I think some of the four men who assaulted him got pretty light sentences from what I recall, which is pretty fucked considering they killed a man. Anyways, again props to Izzy here for how he approached this altercation

Bingo. It's basically a no-win situation for Izzy. If he smacks the guy up, he gets arrested and sued. If he says nothing, people will act like he's some street thug getting into fights with "civilians." And if he explains what happened and lets the authorities handle it, internet tough guys will say he's whining and being a [insert insult].
