I think the Sherchologists here have already heavily analyzed this and come to a diagnosis of Izzy being shookified.
As a poker player I can tell you I have nerves everytime before I sit at a table. It all goes away after the first hand or two. I'm expecting Israel to lock into the fight as soon as it starts but yeah Alex has this super serious demeanor and an intensity to him. Can't wait for this.
Well that is most certainly true. This isn't Israel's first rodeo though he'll be ready to go.to be fair, no one gets knocked out unconsciously at the table with millions watching.

Oh, I do. I hold it right up there with Scientology and astrology.well, they were right about Olivera being shook at the stare down vs Islam so give credit where credit is due.
That’s a great time to talk and act tough.just like costa fight, he starts talking after the fight
not saying it ends like that though
And Izzy is honest with himself. As he said openly - "he has bragging rights" - so what's he going to do, act super confident and talk a gang of shit?? He lost twice (maybe fairly, maybe not, but he lost twice) so what else can he do but bite his tongue and show up to show and prove.I'm a big Izzy fan but I wouldn't blame him at all for being nervous. 5 title defenses and clearing out the division and your worst nightmare shows up. Can't imagine the pressure the dude has on his shoulders.
Solid points.I think he's already explained all of this, Alex doesn't speak English so there's no point trash talking to him, and he already defeated Izzy in the past, so there's no point trying to intimidate him. All he can do is just focus on himself and wait for the fight, which is already sold.
I don't see any shookness from him either, and if he loses at least its to the so called greatest kickboxer. I think he's just fired up to avenge the loss and test himself
Edit: wow 2 likes ! That's so cool !Thanks for the gold, kind stranger!
*shaking your head with my own hands to add to the pre-fight tension intensity*And Izzy is honest with himself. Ppl say he's shook, but I think it's more that he's self-aware. He understands this is a guy he was beating twice before but in both cases the guy ended up getting him, one way or another. So he knows he can beat the guy, as he's had two fights before where he was beating the guy more than the guy was beating him. But should he keep harping on "you won but I was beating you"?
Seems weak. The stronger thing to do is rely on what you know you can do, prepare to do it better, and keep your mouth shut.
Ppl say "he's different this time" - no shit! He's facing a guy who has two wins over him - HE'S not different - THE SITUATION is different!
