Reyes got caught, the fight was pretty even, and there is a reason why Reyes was the favourite before the fight. Jan is the perfect guy to be destroyed by Jones. Santos looked good recently. Almost beat Jones and almost beat Glover, I definetly think Jan would do worst against both. My point is: Jan is maybe one of the 5 best LHW and Izzy is definetly the best MW.

Yea, and Jan is a talented striker in his own right. He's not just a big idiot plodding around. But Izzy has a lot of hype right now. I think the betting lines look way too far in Izzy's favor personally, but whta the hell do I know. Maybe he will just clown Jan

I guess it is similar when the Number 1 best Featherweight, who had cleaned out his division and had a long win streak, moved up to 155 and got beaten in convincing fashion by the 4th ranked LW. That took place in April 2019 when Max Holloway lost decisively to a Dustin Poirier. Fight was for the interim LW Title.

Slightly bigger? They are like 350lbs bigger.. Thats almost double the size.. Tigers can get to be 800lbs+ to like 500lbs+ for a male lion..

History says Tigers beat Lions 99/100 times.. These fights have happened and it usually results in a dead lion..

The Smithsonian says it will take 2-4 female lions to beat 1 female tigress.. They even gave recorded examples of the fights between tigers vs lions in the Roman Colliseaum days.. Tigers always won.. They even have recorded fights where the tiger kills lions in 1 paw swipe.. 1 hit kill.. Happened in a zoo when the tiger broke into the lion cage..

They aren't even close.. All the scientific data and historic data and first hand witness accounts plus the Youtube vids say the tiger wins..

A 500lb cat isn't beating an 800lb cat that is not only stronger, faster, more athletic, and a superior hunter/killer..

Thats like saying a house cat could beat a mountain lion in a fight.. It would be a miracle/fluke of the gods for that to happen.. Better odds winning the lottery..

Lol, I'm a huge fan of Izzy but he most certainly wouldn't "destroy Jones", that would be the other way around. Fighting Jon would be the biggest mistake in a thus far spectacular career, absolutely horrible matchup for him.

Especially since he's antagonised Jon enough that he would take the fight seriously and come in looking to prove a point which is when he is at his most dangerous.

Though it's rare these days since he's been fighting guy's he didn't see as threats till after the fight since the Gus and DC rematches. I imagine a Reyes or Santos (though that one would be pointless since it was a pretty clear 4-1 win for him) would look about the same as those 2 did.

Most people Underestimate Jan in every aspect of the game but i will not be surprised if he upsets Izzy at UFC 259
