Classic guy posture when sitting, you know the relaxed sit. Appears manly, is relatively comfortable but it isnt the GOAT posture.

It might be coming with getting older, less flexible etc but the main reason I do it is because it's way more comfortable. I dont care what I look like doing it because I can single leg most men or touch them with the jab if they had the audacity to come at me over it.

It's a sensible man that takes periodic stock in the message his sitting posture conveys. So Kudos to you for that.

But I realized over time that this conveyed a more informal, relaxed message than I wanted to send people. So I switched it to this:

The subtle difference of having my hand rest on my leg as opposed to my forearm, combined with having my staff noticeably closer, conveys more of a 'I'm ready to pounce-don't get too comfortable' message. Since I have switched to this stance, my meeting times have gone down an average of 9 minutes, and my subjects are asking for 16% less mercy and charity. Pretty good returns for such an easy, subtle shift.
