This video was just released it has zero to do with race so please dont make it about race as we're seeing kids of all races act up.
This is proof positive it starts with parents. Where do you think they learned this behavior from? We have a parenting issue in this country. What can be done to turn things around?

Expand social programs / after school programs
Raise minimum wage
Paid parental leave
Ease of access to childcare
Getting rid of red lining

Or the GOP solution:

Thoughts and prayers
Blame unrelated shit

This is really sad. Those kids are little, like really little. No way they should be acting like that. Things like this should get more attention.

Bad parenting cuts across all races/backgrounds/income levels. Where race does come into play is the way different races are treated when it comes to police interactions and punishment afterwards. And lets be real. This is Andy Ngo. He's using this particular clip to point out this issue for a reason.

Looks like the average level of discourse in this forum and the internet in general.

It would involve big government programs with lots of socialism and the reigning in of corporate power through regulations.

None of that makes a difference if values aren't taught at home. Understanding right from wrong and impulse control are needed more than anything you just mentioned.

You naked it. I came from hard times. I broke the cycle. I told myself at 13 I wouldn't be like them.

My sister didn't make it. She's still in that hole. That's what she wanted.
Yeah, all those programs don't mean anything if you're mentality isn't ready. Best of luck to your sis.

If you wanted to stop this sort of stuff you would have to have a system that didnt intentionally target the poor. Shit look at how the War on Drugs broke many families over low levels of possession for Marijuana. We cant intentionally make life harder for the poor, then expect the next generations to improve their lives. We have to decrease the wealth gap, and improve education if we want to see societal change. Other wise it will continue to be a perpetual cycle in the race to the bottom.

I like how people can view an obvious case of horrible parenting and pull it back into the abstract and make it about the drug war.

There’s lots of single mothers out there, the majority of them don’t have toddlers that are actual thugs
