It was the same for me, I saw Bottom on Gold when I was a little kid and thought it was the funniest shit I'd ever seen. My Dad got me the mega-VHS with all seasons of Bottom, and I watched it so much I knew all the words to every episode

The Bottom live shows were legendary too

Same. I had all three seasons, Fluff, and the first four lives on VHS and the last one on DVD. I also saw Weapons Grade Y Fronts Tour in person with my father on my eighteenth birthday, at the Odeon (I think?) in Brighton. I also saw Guest House Paradiso in the cinema and had the DVD.

Same on knowing the words too. I surprise myself when I don't know them...

Good luck on the healthier lifestyle. Stretching and cardio get more important with age and it's easier to stay in shape than get in shape.

Aside from doing my back in a couple of days ago, I'm lifting the heaviest weights that I've ever done, bottom stacking machine, but it translates poorly to actual movement. I'm not doing much. I'll be owning my first property from the start of 2025 and I need to be careful on the cash, though I may make a couple of trips to London and Brighton. Missus is with me, she made a cracking breakfast today and she'll be buying me a Toby's this afternoon. After that? I'll be good. I've got things to do. Lose weight, clean up, make money, but Japan is going to be visited in 2025. I've put it off for years to get the flat sorted, and now that it's in range...

Anyway, I made it a tradition to watch this on my birthday, so I'm sharing it.

I'm not sure. I think that I screwed up the holiday and the missus didn't like it at all. I liked Tintagel, but only for a day, and aside from Bude, there isn't much around for at least an hours drive. If I went further west, we would have enjoyed it more. I may go back in a few years. I want to, but I'd like to see Scotland, the Lake District and the Peak District first, and that's excluding what I'd like to see overseas.

Thank you. I'm getting there. I have my ups and my downs but generally, I'm building well. I think that, once the flat purchase is complete and I'm moved in and stable, I can finally do some of the things that I've wanted to do for years.
