Aldo

I just realized Frankie has never been knocked out or submitted.. and we all know what his game plan will be against Conor *COUGHLEGHUMP*. When Conor lands the left hand flush and Frankie eats it continuing to come forward pressuring, it will be Conor vs Nate round 2 all over again

Its only fitting since 2016 is the UFCs year of vengeance:

Rockhold vs Weidman 2
Jones vs Cormier 2
Cruz vs Faber 3

Etc

Aldo vs McGregor 2 UFC 200 guaranteed

I suspect it will be Aldo. The UFC will be scared shitless of screwing up marketable rematches from now on.

Lmao at calling this a leghump to try and diminish actual, worthwhile technique. Sorry, fuckboy, "movement" is only gonna get your guy so far. Tell him to learn to wrestle.

By the way, yeah, he'll get Aldo next. No way they feed him to Frankie this soon. FWIW, Aldo wrecks him too.

What complete bollocks. Guess who else was never KO'd (until December)... Jose Aldo! also only submitted once ever, at lightweight and a loooooong time ago.

I want to see the Edgar fight. Not really interested in an Aldo rematch. Either way, they'll be playing musical chairs with the belt/rematches.

there taking more of a risk with Frankie I would think
I expect Aldo/Mac 2

Aldo's chin was already cracked, not Frankie's, so out of the two options it's smarter to choose Aldo

They both get annihilated on the same night. Nick Jr was getting his face disfigured up until that lucky freak accident. It's still steaks for breakfast little man.

just heard that Jeremy Stephens just signed up to fight a Brazilian in may...I hope he's fighting Aldo, not Conor.

I want Edgar to get the fight but i see them giving it to Aldo because he's more beatable for Conor. The fact that Jose fucking Aldo is probably the easiest matchup says a lot for Frankie.... and Conor really

I'm under the impression the UFC will try to match Aldo up with Cloner. Cloner and his camp have eviscerated Aldo verbally ever since that fight, yet once Cloner has lost, it's their safe haven. I'm assuming they expect Cloner can get back to his comfort zone fighting an aggressive striker who they've already beaten. More so, after a loss like Cloner's last one, it would normally be difficult to verbally bash your upcoming opponent. However, Cloner has already beaten Aldo convincingly so it'll make it much easier to lay the verbal smack on very thick.

Personally, I do think the fight will be closer. Cloner is going to have to cut down after gaining muscle and with the IV ban, it's going to be quite cumbersome. Still, he is a formidable striker with a lot of power in his laser, straight left hand and moves very well when he's the bigger man. He's shown he can bully his opposition at Featherweight and they have a lot of trouble hurting him and taking his shots as well. I would expect Aldo to be more tempered and do well. It just depends on if he can survive the early pressure and not succumb to the movement and those left hand strikes. In reality, Cloner is no slouch in the stand-up. He could very well beat Aldo. Then again, his faults are more obvious and Aldo will attempt to exploit them. I expect a great fight and again, a coin flip. If Aldo gets the fight to the ground, his offensive BJJ is very, very good and I would expect him to dominate that aspect of the fight.

At 145, I'm not counting Cloner out. At 155, it's a whole other story.

I love how Aldo is now a gimmicky opponent.

So do I. From P4P #1 ranked to an alleged squash match now. Seconds after Conor turned his lights out Aldo suddenly aged 10 years and he got "old". He was out of his prime then. Edgar is 34 and Aldo isn't even 30 yet so imagine what they'll say about him. They'll probably say "he should've retired he's looked shit for the last couple years".

Aldo is gonna butcher Conor in a rematch. Conor has a legitimate chance at putting Frankie out.

I dont think Aldo is the UFC protecting Conor, i think Aldo has a very good chance in the rematch. In my mindset this is gonna be like the Cain Vs JDS trilogy. Think Frankie would be an easier fight than Aldo 2.

LMFAO. Indeed. Time to Steak 'n Shake up these little bitches once again! Bring on Frank, Joezsay, whoever is up at the plate next to take a swing at the Featherweight king.
