Media It was coming… Conor Mcgregor has started bad mouthing the UFC to promote BKFC

I actually love grappling but holding against the cage is fucking awful and is often just plain stalling. He's not totally wrong, stalling against the cage is horrible to watch. Sure the onus is on the guy against the cage to escape but it's supposed to be a FIGHT.

Yellow cards pride style, something to break that shit up.
I agree. Ever since Handy originated the wall and stall 20 years ago, I've hated it. They should break off the cage much quicker. They let them spend entire fights laying against the cage. It's rough.

I used to watch every UFC event but now that its almost every week I really could care less about the TV cards as its just way too much and doesn't get me excited to watch anymore.

LOL it's not like BKFC doesn't have fighters to take dives for their guarenteed pay.

Todd Duffee went down from a punch that hardly hit him, he took the money and ran.

Even Feldman said at one point some fighter took a jab and quit.

I'm here for it. We need as many powerful people as possible to come at the UFC. Well maybe not the Saudis. There's levels to the whole evil org thing.

The quality of the UFC has dropped but not because of grapplers. It's more to do with piss poor recruiting (contender series) and being cheap imo. The talent, the rule set, and the judging are shit.
Where also spoilt as combat sport fans. There's multiple events every week under different rules sets and disciplines and yet we still complain.

He is right, cards have become a fucking drag to watch, too many wrestlers happy to just hold someone down and stall the whole fight, they should really bring back yellow cards.

Depends on the situation. Depends how we define stalling. If it really is stalling... You can be certain without referee and time limit, the staller is the one who would lose. So if the ref or the judges punish stalling, we actually get closer to what we all want: see which one of the two would win without assistance.

And again, the staller can also be the striker on his back holding on for dear life.. hoping for a referee stand up or for the round to end.
Good point

Some of the fight night cards are really abysmal.

There is some good talent on the undercards sometimes, but its very hot or cold.

BKFC though has way more problems in the long run tho imo.

Conor just on his next grift. As soon as BKFC is valued where he wants, he'll sell it off and buy into another thing to attach his name. Still BKFC has more to run than I thought it did initially.

By Conor’s definition and standard, PowerSlap shits on BKFC lol they don’t even move or block bro it’s where it’s at

Disgrace to Ireland. He is the devil of MMA @Dana's Moonface Hope you been well brother. Sorry Conor continues to bring shame to Ireland

St Jones will smite him after he deals with Stipe. I thank God in Heaven that he sent Jones to defeat not only this demon but the pink devil who runs the organisation

I'm good brother. Still trying fight the good fight. Spreading the Gospel to the people, feed the hungry and be a better man than last time.

The only time I agree with Conor. Crotch sniffers are making the UFC boring as fuck. Why don't these crotch sniffers understand that they can try and KO the opponent with g'n'p instead of just sniffing on that crotch?

Yeah I strongly agree with this. Here's my proposed solution:

Have an official outside the cage with a stopwatch. Their job is to time how long one fighter is holding another against the cage, while both are standing. If it exceeds say 40 seconds in a round, automatic half point deduction. If it exceeds 1:20, full point deduction. 2 minutes? 2 point deduction.

I'm not married to those exact times, you could make them more or less generous, but that's the basic idea. This system is so much better than the ref automatically separating the fighters, which is lame. It lets the fighters do some cage holding if they want to, if they think it makes sense for their strategy, whatever. They get to decide

I can't read the second tweet but the first one isn't as negative as the OP states. The last line shows he still cares about MMA saying that the sport is better than what it has become. He's not saying "Screw the UFC, I'm all in BKFC!". He's voicing concerns with MMA as a whole, not specifically the UFC.

Bare knuckle is absolutely much more exciting on average, but its also comparatively bush league talent wise and the core concept is nowhere near as interesting or deep as MMAs. The best bare knuckle guys cant lay claim to being the best all round fighters on the planet, the best strikers on the planet or the best boxers on the planet. Shit, they cant even lay claim to being the best bare knuckle boxers tbh because everybody knows scores of guys from other combat sports could walk in there tomorrow with no BK training and clean house.
