Not "Rhonda". Drives me freaking nuts. This thread is Wasteland material but hopefully enough eyes will see it first so people will stop misspelling such a simple name.

It must be very satisfying to omit the h.

personally, I doubt Rhonda Rousey cares how you spell her name, so long as you are talking about her.

Honda is also acceptable. But Rhonda is ignorant.

I don't think they are "misspelling" it

Its just another way to attack her, since they have nothing else

For further references see people who spell Conor as "Connor"

I made a thread like this two years ago and it went right to the wasteland.

I need to start a thread about commas.

Shit's getting out of hand.

This explanation does seem reasonable. Though I've seen it deliberately misspelled (and that is actually how you spell misspell) as Cannor more often than Connor.

It's also "The Berenstain Bears", not -stein.

Simpletons.

People do it who are petty and don't like her. It's like doing a childish voice to imitate someone you don't like.

I wasn't questioning your spelling, I was quoting it in the same way as:

- do you want to work on that project today
- I don't particularly "want" to, but I "have" to

Perhaps I should have used different symbols

My mistake. :D

Agreed. I don't know how it could even be an accidental mistake. As if people deliberately want to be idiots.
