Strategic bombing doesn't work when the countries have enough size & strategic depth to absorb it and rebuild their capabilities faster than they're being destroyed. This was mostly true with Germany, Russia, the UK, and other major combatants in WW2 and most other wars.

It's not true with Israel. Israel is a tiny nation which relies on its power plants, desalination plants, and oil & gas infrastructure to exist. The infrastructure is out in the open and concentrated in a few easy to hit locations which can't be fully defended, nor is there a way to quickly repair or replace it when shit gets wrecked. Kill the infrastructure and Israel is back to being a desert which can't support the people living on it, and it's effectively dead as a modern nation.
So you're claiming that for the first time in history, strategic bombing is going to work? Interesting and bold take.

We shall see. I think it's only going to embolden Israel and force the US to help them. Israel is targeting military targets and Iran is randomly terror bombing cities (war crime).

And yes, nuclear scientists are enemy combatants regardless of what the woke retards on the internet tell you. Striking & killing a military general or nuclear scientist in their bed at night is legal at the end of the day.

That’s not guaranteed you’re right , but forcing them into a deal is most likely I think . These bastards are responsible for so much terrorism, death, chaos ect that’s the least they deserve. Israel are no saints either don’t get me wrong. But there is a greater devil

In the very unlikely scenario that mass bombing will get the people to overthrown the regime, the next one is just going to be just as, if not more, fucked up and repressive. That's quite literally what happened already when they did forced regime change in the past.

You do know Israel hit Tehran, one of the most densely populated cities in the world right?

Iran and Israel should make a deal, and will make a deal, just like I got India and Pakistan to make, in that case by using TRADE with the United States to bring reason, cohesion, and sanity into the talks with two excellent leaders who were able to quickly make a decision and STOP! Also, during my first term, Serbia and Kosovo were going at it hot and heavy, as they have for many decades, and this long time conflict was ready to break out into WAR. I stopped it (Biden has hurt the longer term prospects with some very stupid decisions, but I will fix it, again!). Another case is Egypt and Ethiopia, and their fight over a massive dam that is having an effect on the magnificent Nile River. There is peace, at least for now, because of my intervention, and it will stay that way! Likewise, we will have PEACE, soon, between Israel and Iran! Many calls and meetings now taking place. I do a lot, and never get credit for anything, but that’s OK, the PEOPLE understand. MAKE THE MIDDLE EAST GREAT AGAIN!

lol open a history book child

Strategic bombing has never worked and it's established and accepted fact within the military strategy & political science academic communities?

Who the fuck do you think you are to question that? Jesus christ your mother shouldn't have let you on the internet.
Kosovo comes to mind.

Meh. Israel's lost about 10 civilians and some residential buildings in Tel Aviv. Iran's lost most of their senior military and nuclear program scientists, an oil field and fuck knows how many planes, anti-aircraft systems etc. I admit I'm slightly impressed Iran hasn't Tapped yet. By the standards of Islamic nations, they are putting up a decent fight. But the IDF are still well ahead on points.

It's more than just residentials. They've also hit an IDF command centre (surrounded by residential buildings), a militarized R&D lab, and the Bazan oil refinery in Haifa. Almost nobody would've believed any of that shit a mere 48 hours ago, especially not so early into it. My keen, sole concern in this conflict is that there is no direct US service member engagement and bloodshed. So I actually want a quick resolution, but there will not be one. Ending the regime will take either Israel straight-up nuking Persia or a full-on invasion and occupation (i.e. Iraq, one of the most disastrous and disgraceful acts in the history of the nation), and we can't afford that shit, dude. In literally any and every conceivable way, we can't do it. We're already bleeding from a hundred different cuts domestically with problems out the asshole and through the eyeballs.

It is not legal to bomb another country without U.N. authorization. Would it be legal for Mexico to bomb and kill America generals and nuclear scientists? Of course not. Iran is a sovereign state recognized by the U.N. just like every other country.

The only “law” you could plausibly be talking about is international law - so no, bombing and killing generals and nuclear scientists is not “legal” in the way Israel is doing it. It’s also worth pointing out that Israel was attacking apartment complexes where those people lived, not military bases - they attacked civilian buildings and killed civilians alongside any other military targets they killed.

If Israel declared war on Iran, the U.N. would have to authorize the war for it to be legal. And under those conditions Israel could strike military targets, but those are not the conditions under which Israel is attacking.

Moreover Israel has the largest supply of nuclear weapons in the Middle East, and has never submitted themselves to U.N. inspection, and Israel is not a signatory to the nuclear nonproliferation agreement, which means they are in possession of illegal nuclear weapons while simultaneously being led by a person who is wanted by the international criminal court for crimes against humanity.

What is happening right now is simple. Iran is a major oil producer and exports a large amount of oil to China. The USA is acting through its proxy in Israel to isolate Iran and wants a justification for war so it can control the Iranian oil supply, it is exactly the same situation as what happened in Iraq.

My biggest concern is what's going to happen if Russian and Chinese weapons are effective and we join the war directly because Israel is taking massive damage.

thats it,
this conflict will be over in the next 24hrs

We must also remember that the war ain't gonna stay "over there" like it has in the past. How many sleeper groups are already in the US and waiting for their orders to wreck domestic targets? And all that Chinese hardware with known back doors which are running vital parts of our infrastructure & industry, what happens when they get remotely bricked by China? The US could easily lose most of its strategic bombers along with its energy grid with no way to rebuild either for years since we offshored all that industry many years ago.

Yea but that’s mma math, every situation is different , that is an old tired talking point.

Let's just say Russian missile tech is way ahead of what the Iranians have shown so far. Whatever was underground at Yuzhmash in the Ukraine got obliterated by an Oreshnik missile which came screaming in at well over Mach 10. Getting directly involved would be a huge and likely fatal mistake for the US.

Who the fuck missiles do you think they are firing? Do you seriously think there is no US involvement here? Again, my prediction is a hell of a lot closer to being a full reality than yours is, so go cry about being at'ed in some weak clown corner somewhere.
No you do t remember what I actually wrote and like you always do on this forum you flew off in a sputtering rage. I never said we wouldn’t supply Israel and I actually said in that same post that initiated your year long triggering that we might even launch strikes ourselves but we weren’t going to invade Iran. I also never said we were going to go to war with China what I said is that our strategic focus has shifted from the Middle East to China.

You’re a very predictable person on this forum so I’m going to go ahead and stop you before your next post which is to say I’m being revisionist. I am not. This is what I said at the time and you have been trying to simplify what I said to suit your purpose. I’m also not convinced you could handle the complexity of the conversation so maybe you aren’t even simplifying it on purpose that’s just all you can handle.

I’m not crying about you ating. Quit acting like a tool nothing in my post sounded like crying. I’m just honestly baffled that you thought you had your mic drop moment when this admin has talked about was with China a bunch since they took over. It’s like tied your shoes together and the tried to race me

I don't literally pray, but I'm praying for the innocent Palestinians and Iranians caught in this ruthless violence.

It's a longshot but 'm praying both Ukraine and Iran can land decisive and crippling strikes to Russia and Israel, enough to disrupt their nuclear capabilities. After seeing what a Ukrainian drone operation can do, and how easily Iranian missiles got through the Israeli Iron Dome, anything's possible.

No prayers for innocent Israelis. Got it.
