That's not relevant in this fight. I think Alex is learning faster than Izzy but we shall see. This should be a good test for him. If he looks better in this fight than in the last than I have very high expectations for him moving forward.

I think you all are speaking past each other. I don't think that the 0-3 history is the only detail to be considered, but you're acting like it doesn't even matter, when it probably matters more than any other single detail.

I'm fine 100% impartial. I know if Izzy doesn't find the mark then he has to fight 5 flawless rounds and not get hit, which becomes harder and harder to do as Alex will probably accumulate damage.

But also I know Izzy has shown he can land first and put Alex out - this fact is fascinating, it really demonstrates how either deluded or low IQ most posters on sherdog are - they simply refuse to acknowledge this fact.

I think the odds are in a good place now. Izzy the slight favourite as hes overall the better figthter.

Alex finished Izzy. He spent the better part of 5 rounds being unable to do that until he did. Izzy did it near the bell and couldn't finish. This is a game of centimeters and Izzy is very obviously has the capability of beating Alex -- and it isn't by trying to wrestle him, outside of trying to disrupt timing in the striking department.

He literally got blasted on his chin several times by a power puncher and got finished. He has to play the distance game, in and out, head movement. He can't stand in the pocket and trade with Alex -- that has not shown to work for him.

Staying in the pocket was the reason why he almost finished Alex in the first, Israel's in and out movement is much more effective when he has the size advantages, he doesn't against Pereira. If Israel was just a bit more aggressive I believe he could put Pereira out.
