Israel Adesanya's Absolute Destruction Of Costa Will Be The Most Ruthless Beatdown Ever Witnessed

Wasn't a brutal beat down, in fact not much really happened apart from those leg kicks. The tko was pretty weak also, he lost his equilibrium with a glancing blow, then some weak gnp finished it. Strange fight overall. Still don't understand it.

Not the most savage fight ever but he did a ton of damage in less than 2 rounds to a fighter known for his durability.

While the legkicks did serious damage, the headkick basically broke Costa. He was terrified after that.

Honestly I find all the best guys seem to universally have this quality. Sometimes fighting is really a battle of minds and intelligence.

Truly is a chess match in the fullest sense of the meaning at the highest levels. It takes a cerebral sort of mind to study and analyze someone's game to the point you read them like a book, see everything coming and are one step ahead of them in every facet of the game of inches.

It is technical prowess and natural talent as well obviously. But intelligence is the difference maker. That's what separates good from great.

Its no surprise that the best guys, the legends, the GOATs are always highly intelligent, quick minded and just seem to think differently than the average fighter.

MMA striking is also different to pure striking styles.

Modified guard, foot work and stances.

izzy is rare bc he is an elite striker that has modified and adapted his striking to mma and still maintained his elite edge.

we have seen other elite kick boxers not do be able to do the same.

But still think Costa will win this by TKO and could also see a situation where he gets a decision. Think he may slow down in later rounds but will still pose enough of a threat to win judges score cards too. He can win this either way.

Costas high output and raw power will cause israel alot of trouble
