News Israel Adesanya vs Kelvin Gastelum Inducted UFC Hall Of Fame

never been a fan of inducing fights into the HOF, there should be way less of them. Only really big fights that are talked about years after they happened and have significant meaning.

Izzy vs gastelum is not one of those fights. It was a great fight but rarely talked about outside of Izzy's most entertaining fights.

HOF fights should be reserved to insane real title fights like Rory vs Lawler and History making fights like Forrest vs Bonnard
 
How this fight made jt into the hof is a laughing joke!! it wasn't nearly as spectacular as they made it seem
If anything is was a basic regular fight
a stupid regular fight, was moatly 1 sided

It was such an amazing fight, so exciting. Gastelum actually has incredible hand speed, his hands are so fast, its a shame that his career has stagnated and been mediocre because when he lets go his hand speed is epic, but too many lacklustre performances.

This feels like an "in the moment" decision considering 1) Izzy is popular in Australia and 2) he is very close to retirement after just losing a week ago so they want to give him a thank you acknowledgment.

Considering how stingy/biased the UFC HOF is, this one feels out of place to me and I feel like there are many more fights that should be in there long before this one. I would have preferred if they just inducted Izzy as a fighter by himself TBH but whatever, no one cares about the UFC HOF anyway

This is an odd take considering it was the only title fight on that card.
 
The fight is certainly worthy, it was on the level of Robbie vs Rory Mac.
