Who is the better striking based prospect in MMA?

Adensanya was a legit top 5 MW kickboxer. Still is, if he decides to return.

MVP has really not faced any good opposition in any sport he competed in.

so let me think a bit.. a former world contender in kickboxing in a full contact organization (Glory) or a hype job that comes from a point fighting style..
one guy proved his worth striking wise against the best competition available worldwide (Yousri Belgaroui, Alex Pereira, Simon Marcus, Filip Verlinden, Bogdan Stoica, Jason Wilnis) while the other is fighting undersized wrestler bums in MMA

gonna go with Adesanya, you know?

Adesanya hasn’t proven shit in MMA

He arguably lost him last fight to a no name. It could have gone either way

No it couldn't, you just don't know how to score fights if you think so.

Also.. Marvin Vettori, no name or not, is a better fighter than anyone Page has ever fought. Rickels is a journeyman lightweight.

Adesanya mma striking hype is purely based on his kickboxing record.his last opponent is legit the slowest striker I have ever seen

MVP is pretty undersized against Adesanya isn't he?

Around the same height, but Adesanya looks bigger. Either way, If they fought Adesanya would murk MVP.

Neither has faced difficult competition as yet so it is hard to judge.

Israel has better striking credentials, but that does not always translate into being a better MMA fighter (James Toney anyone)

Israel's kickboxing credentials are only topped by guys like Overeem, Hunt and Saki in the men's divisions. Maybe I'm forgetting someone, but that's pretty much it. Guys like Thompson, Till and MVP are lauded for their credentials, but they faced nobodies.

okay well MVP barely did anything and arguably should have lost against some chubby bum journeyman in Fernando Gonzalez.

Based on what I've seen in their MMA display, MVP

Is a 31 year old with 6 years experience really a prospect still?
