48-47 Volk definitely. And without a doubt he finished stronger and less tired. Better fighter tonight. I have never seen Islam holding someone for 4 minutes and doing absolutely nothing, even being obviously flustered. But that finish was beautiful, he demolished Islam.

Fights are judged by rounds not as a whole. It's a shame sometimes.

Volk won!! Stuffed most of his takedown and the ones he didn't got right back up. The other guy(who dana doesn't even care enough to remember his name) didn't do any damage the few times he had him on the ground or against the cage. Had his back with a triangle applied and Volk did more damage punching him lol

Would've been more then happy with a hometown robbery, Volk pushed the pace and the fight the whole night never gave up or slowed down. One more round and I think he finishes Islam

I thought Volk won IMO... Islam was avoided most of the time, take downs without any real sub treat... Volk had some good shot and wobbled Islam 4-5 times and almost finished him in 5th... Volk was robbed!

Nah, even though Volk won the last round and clearly would've won with no time limit, he lost too much of that 25 minute fight even by Pride scoring criteria (e.g. look at Frye vs Shamrock).
