No. It's just gonna be another Makhachev UD.
He needs a finish if he wants this fight to have any value or actual meaning.

Makhachev is fighting Usman because he wants the safest way to break Silva's record and get his first defense.

I don' mind that fight if he gives us a quick turnaround assuming he doesn't get injured or too beat up.

Makhachev vs Shavkat in November would be really good.

Would I have preferred a couple of the younger top contenders? Yes, but I am content with this fight. Usman handled himself well against Khamzat and lets be honest, if anyone at WW can nullify the grappling like or not it is probably Kamaru.

Even if Usman does that he'll still lose. Makhachev has excellent striking and would beat him up.
Not to mention, he would use his judo skills to trip or throw Usman and once he secures that TD, that pretty much means that round is his at the very least.

What I do like though is the fact that Kamaru is still shredded and strong. Would be cool to see the wrestling exchanges between these two legends.

Usman is the No3 WW of all time and he deserves this fight but I fear it won't be competitive at all.

I want a finish, not some another boring Makh UD. Take some chances ffs.

If this was a 35 year old Usman then yeah it could be a interesting fight but he's too old now.

I love the UFC and MMA, but I am annoyed every time they suck up to that fat fascist fuck. The White House card is going to be insufferable.

I can see it being on there, TOpuria/Justin, Kayla/Nunes, Islam/Usman and a Conor main event and then some name guys on prelims like Colby/Bo, put a few action fights etc.

Now maybe Topuria or Kayla arent ready and they pivot to Alex/Gane interim HW or Yan/O Malley BW but those are basically the options for this card.
