I used to live on a farm and my mom had a rescue horse. It was not full grown, but it had bad hooves that needed trimmed. It was not trained what so ever and I had to take it down and hold it while my mom trimmed its hooves. I was small at the time <150 pounds, but it was not as difficult as it would seem.
