Might want to shoot that look in the mirror and maybe try reading a little slower since you seem to be having trouble. Nobody told you he couldn't, I told you multiple times that he could if he had said no to Volk, then said no to Poirier, and specifically asked for the guy who is PPV poison and had just gotten 30-27'd by Dariush and went to split decision with Jalin Turner in the 12 months prior.
They already told you what happened, and it wasn't calling Islam and saying "who do you want", beacuse if the UFC wanted Gamrot, they wouldn't have called Volk or Poirier in the first place, unless you're claiming Islam turned down Gamrot and told them to call Volk out of nowhere, but for some reason they stil paid Gamrot to weigh in as backup at the event after Islam said he wouldn't fight him?
Gamrot was paid to go to the event and make weight in case one of the fighters couldn't. Charles pulled out just under 2 weeks before, so the UFC had some more time to call some bigger names. Dana called Ali and told him Oliveiera was out and they were looking for a replacement, Islam told Ali he didn't care who the replacement was, so Volk said yes and they signed it and Dana called Islam directly. He didn't even know who else they called until after he'd already signed.
Had he fought Gamrot that day, I swear these guys would say that Islam avoided Volk, because he "struggled" during the first fight and was afraid. I'm 100% confident about that.
