Arman is going to KO this monkey man Islam.

No they didn't. Leon was trying to duck and instead just kept pushing it back for 9 months. Jones was injured 2 weeks out from a fight that was going to be 9 months after his previous fight, which was 3 years after his fight before that.

Lol, so according to you, not having a fight signed 5 weeks after your previous fight is ridiculous inactivity. When was Oliveira's last fight? When was Gaethje's?
I agree on Leon.He has always been inactive. Jones was waiting on Stipe in a retirement fight for both. I think Jones should have fought Pavlovich.

Islam is the only male champion without a fight signed. He isn't injured, didn't take damage in his last fight and has 3-4 fighters he could fight at any point within the next 6-8 weeks. Gaethje fought Poirer in a number 1 contender fight whilst Charles was meant to fight Islam. Gamrot was the back up. Everybody in the division around the top 5 mark, except Poirer, is waiting on Islam and has fought their way to a shot.

Charles beat Dariush after beating all the other top 5 already.
Gaethje beat Fiziev at 7 and Poirer at 3.
Arman beat Dariush and took his spot with a streak similiar to Islams pre title shot.
Gamrot has Arman, Turner and Fiziev, but 2 were close and Fiziev was via injury.

They will probably have to do Poirer vs Arman or Gamrot, but everyone else is kinda screwed and would be fighting down around the lower end of the top 10 after beating someone above that in their last fight.

No reason that Islam couldn't have fought around Jan and then one more if still healthy prior to ramadan. He said he wants to be active and they could have rebooked Charles on the same night he fought Volk because all Charles had was a cut.

Huh? Pereira wasn't champ and has 0 title defenses in any division, and Volk has defended his title once in over a year and a half. Do you think Islam would turn down a WW title shot if they offered him one? He's the one who asked to be the backup fighter and said he'd fight either of them on a day's notice.

Pereira has literally been MW and LHW champion this year.

Gave him a rematch? Charles beat Dariush and earned that rematch. Islam has no say in taking that fight at that point in time. Now you have Charles, Gaethje and Armen all sitting around waiting for Islam to announce when he will be available to fight again. You have 3 guys who have a reasonable claim to the shot all waiting on the champion. Armen just fought so he will probably end up having to take another fight in the meantime.
I wasn't saying Charles didn't earn it, I just mean that Islam signing to fight him again clearly indicates that he isn't scared.

The guy fought less than two months ago and people are throwing a tantrum because he isn't booked for another fight, it's just weird

Yes, Because he is the only male champion not signed to a fight, has multiple contenders in his division and has beaten 1 guy in his top 5 recently though now you can count Arman atleast, so he has 2.

The guy he just KO'd 8 weeks ago is signed to a fight already. We all know ramadan is an issue for him so we will only see 1 fight in the first half of the year with no fight announced and his recent win over Volk was the perfect oppurtunity to get an early fight in for 2024, which could have lead to a 2nd fight pre ramadan.

That means he most likely will only fight 2x again and both Gaethje and Charles could have easily fought anytime at the start of next year. We will see barely any movement at 155 for most of next year and that's if Islam doesn't go off and chase the 170 belt if he gets past whoever he does fight for his first defence of 2024.

It's different if he was actually fighting in tough matches but didn't take a shot in his last fight. If he said he wanted to fight Charles in Jan, he easily could have. If Charles said no he could have fought Gaethje, If both said no you know have Arman and Gamrot both ready to go.

The only reason these fights aren't happening is because Islam needs long camps to get his weight down IMO.

No one in the top 5 will get the belt? Is it bc Islam will only fight those outside the weight class with the LW belt on the line, or bc he's gonna fight at WW?

I keed, but I don't.

That’s a hell of a gauntlet, and if he comes out on top, he’s the best fighter pound for pound.

Wait, you think Islam should have to fight 3 times in 4 1/2 months for a 16 fight win streak while the rest of the division sit out for months and years after getting a 1 or 2 fight win streak?

Lol, the entire top 5 have all "fought their way to a title shot"? How does that work, exactly? It doesn't, obviously, you mean they all want title shots and refuse to fight for it. Islam has been more active than every person in the top 5, who all want 1 fight with each other then sit out for a year for a free title shot.
Charles got demolished just a year ago, had 1 fight and was given another title shot that he didn't show up for, so Islam fought someone else.

Gaethje's had 5 fights in 3 and half years, lost 2 of them and refuses to fight again because he beat another guy on a 1 fight win streak.

Arman has nothing close to a streak similar to Islam's. He lost to Islam directly 30-27, just lost to Gamrot last year, and just got his first ranked win like 4 days ago. Islam didn't lose a round for like 7 years before he got a title shot.

Gamrot is also on a whopping 2 fight win streak with one of his opponents winning the first round and getting injured.

There isn't 1 of them who didn't just lose last year, and they're all demanding title shots on 1 or 2 fight win streaks as 4-1 underdogs, but the only active guy out of all of them who fought 3 times in 1 year against p4p top 5s is the guy who gets the complaints?

I hope Arman gets a title shot/rematch before Islam retires or changes divisions. If not next, than in 1 more win. The time is right.

Pretty sure he defended it a little over a month ago after one of those top 5 LW pulled out.

Then had the option of fighting a fully prepared ranked LW in Gamrot, or an unprepared FW coming off elbow surgery in Volk, and we know who he chose — and he himself said he made the choice. Don't get me wrong, I understand why he chose Volk since it was the much bigger fight, but the fact remains that he's addressing all these lightweights while he still hasn't defended a single time against them and continuously asks for people in different weight classes.

I don't think that Tsarukyan's striking is all that, so I doubt that Islam is worried about that guy. A year and a half ago, he got UDed by Gamrot...
