If I were to rank deserving today:
1. Dariush 2.Islam 3. Justin

So I said neither. But we're 1 month away from a title no reason Islam and dariush can't fight in jan-Feb and cement their case.
Chandler was kinda the easiest option for Justin to stay on top so let him fight RDA then he can have another title fight if he wins.

I think the pink goof will have justin v Islam eliminator and give conor a shot next

Make no mistake, should Dustin win the title conor is next. They will sell the Unfinished bullshit with thr injury, despite Dustin beating the shit out of him in his best round and sleeping him in the previous fight

I think JG unequivocally doesn't deserve a title shot and is behind Dariush. The guys is on a ONE fight win streak, and he just beat someone coming off a KO loss.

Dariush has a 7 fight win streak, didn't recently get wrecked in a title shot.

You can argue Islam or Dariush could get an expedited title shot if we have to go that route. Both of them should really have a title eliminator. JG isn't even in the discussion with regards to merit.
 
It's crazy that Justin is winning this poll, shows how ridiculous this forum is.
He just got a TS last year and has only won ONE fight since then.

Both Daruish and Islam are more deserving than Gaethje is. Both are on good win streaks. Dariush just dominated Tony and Islam finished Hooker in half a round. Islam has 3 finishes this year against very good opponents.

Meanwhile Gaethje went life and death with Chandler. Was it a fun fight? Yes. is it worth of a TS (along with the fact that his previous fight was for the TS)? No

IMO someone who just got a TS and lost should have to get at least 2 wins before getting another TS...
 
Give it to Justin. If he wins, you've got the story of him losing to Khabib and now he has to fight Khabib's protege. The story writes itself.
 
Gaethje, if Doostin wins. Ismak, if Oliveira wins.

But I'm always rooting for Gaethje.
 
Gaethje. Dana more or less confirmed it at the post fight presser Saturday. Yes he lost his chance… to Khabib. That’s not quite enough to knock him down from getting another shot.
 
Just because a fight was a war and entertaining doesn't mean that fighter had a good performance.
Chandler versus Gaethje was an entertaining fight. But it was not high level.
it was poor fight IQ fighting.

If we want the best to fight for the title then it goes to Islam.
I like Gaethje and he should have fought versus Oliveira over Chandler for the title.
I think that's the reason why many voted for Gaethje.
 
Justin vs Islam title fight after Dustin beats Charles and, instead of defending the belt, decides to fight Conor once more and then retire.
 
Justin for sure. His last loss was to someone no one has beaten. When people say he had his shot sure that's true but considering no one beat Khabib and it makes a little more sense or palatable imo. Islam needs a top 5 win and then he's next. I see where Islam fans want him next because I'm guilty of wanting to see Khamzat vs Usman even though it shouldn't be next rankings wise.

He’s notched a few quality wins in his run. Moises, whom Islam also defeated, is damn good. Drakkar Klose had some real steam behind him coming into their fight, and Benny knocked him out. CDF is a strong win too. Not saying he deserves next, but he’s definitely in the running for a high profile fight.

Yeah he's in the running for a high profile fight, not a title shot though. One or two big wins and he'll get one.

These are the fights I want to see:

Gaethje vs. RDA; battle of the leg kicks.
Dariush vs. Makhachev; battle of the grapplers.

As for who deserves a title shot? Dariush.
