Jon Jones being this high is laughable. He looked like ass in his last 2 fights at LHW, arguably losing both. He has one fight in the past 3 years and although he made quick work of Gane he did so by exploiting his non existing grappling.

Even in this fight and in the lead up Jones looked slow and plodding, but his high fight IQ and timing got him through. He had an easy stylistic match up, it's not like he beat Gane standing or anything that would showcase p4p dominance. He also hasn't looked like his prime self in ages.

The point being, you can't rank someone based on the run he had 10+ years ago when he hasn't done shit and looked off for like 5+ years now.

Him being anywhere top 10 p4p is ridic when you have so many others putting in better and more consistent performances.

jones has more tittle defenses than islam has wins in the ufc.

jones move up a weight class and still won

islam has beaten one. exactly one relevant guy in his own weight class,

since when has defeating a guy at a lower weight class on short notice earned much of anything??

#1 P4P with a single top 10 ranked win his own division. That's impressive. I'm not implying he doesn't deserve #1 just saying its wild to achieve that.

I think Volk is on the way out. I think he loses to most lightweights.

I don't think he will be a champion after his next fight
