After beating volk, and the lw title picture being so weak. I see islam being a multi champ for several years. I think after a few lw title defenses he will move up and take the belt from leon.

This is probably the best time for islam to be the p4p number 1 champ.
 
Lol, Leon's not going to still be WW champ in a few defenses. Might be Colby Covington or Shavkat by next year.

I'd really rather it was Beniel, but I don't know that he beats Oliveira, so it might be Poirier or someone next. If Islam did move up and won the WW belt, I would think he'd just stay there and vacate the LW belt instead of having to keep moving up and down to defend both.

Why so confident Leon cant remain champ? Everything he's showed us is that hes a winner.

i think if islam gets by dariush there is no one at LW that can stop him. he'll easily get through poirier and gaethje. gamrot might give him some trouble... but he needs a few more fights to get in the title picture.

who knows where WW will be when islam stacks 3-4 defenses.

but islam vs colby, leon, shavkat are all intriguing

Dominated? Who was this former p4p? If you're talking about Volk, there is a lot of people who think he should have gotten the nod. Plus look at each fighters face after the match.

Islams chin is questionable and his cardio late in fights is sus. He isnt physically dominant and a freak athlete like Khabib was either. He isnt gonna have a long reign.
