Once again, if the significant strikes are equal but one fighter takes the other down 6 times in 5 rounds while never being taken down then also ground controls for 8 minutes of a 25 minute fight..that is what we call a domination

The vast majority of people scored it 48-47 Islam, you are the minority trying to argue something that most people disagree with ergo you need to prove your case beyond calling someone a casual, also where are your stats coming from, he was credited with 4 takedowns, not 6. Equally your argument amounts to time in control, virtually 3 minutes of which were in the 4th round which I gave to Islam but does nothing to highlight how he won rounds 3 or 5. The strangest thing is your trying to act like Islam dominated for 22 and a half minutes then coasted which anyone can see is just plain wrong. I’m glad Liddel never hematched Couture, or Cain got another crack at JDS, they would’ve lost… I’m especially happy that Stipe gave up pursuing the belt after DC KO’d him, it would’ve been ashame to see Miocic get murked again. Just like Nunes retired from MMA after losing to Peña, clearly she couldn’t win and retirement was the bes possible t outcome.

Having a fighter make adjustments is out of the realm of possibilities, it’s also not possible that a FW was competitive and gassed the champ during Islam’s last outing, showing chincs in his armor.

Just saying Makachev’s last fight would suggest that Charles does have a roadmap for victory, not that I think that Oli matches up well, actually the opposite. In the grand scheme of things I’d rather see a deserving Charles get another TS versus the resident 155 rank squatters who have gotten plenty of chances. I’m not even going to address McGregor getting a TS.

Charles will Knock him out inside 2 rounds. First fight is what it is, it's history. Charles comes in strong, takes his head and his belt home.

As a huge Charles fan this Sherdogger was correct what the fuck was Charles possibly gonna do in a rematch, Islam out struck and out grappled Charles, and since this fight cancellation Islam has beat Volk again on short notice (many thought there was no way it would not be close) via KO in round 1 and then subbed old man Dustin in round 5 with (Staph), Dustin also locked in with takedown defence with Gamrot; and Islam struck with Dustin on the feet.

Charles since this fight lost a Split Decision to Arman which was a close fight but should have been unanimous for Arman as he outgrappled Charles and did enough with GNP

And then fought Micheal Chandler who wasted 2 year of his life waiting for McGregor only to be given a Charles rematch get his ass kicked only to drop Charles and almost finish him again as well as fight Ilia and get knocked out within 2 minutes, Charles even admitted that he didn’t follow the gameplan and we could see Charles retire in November
