The rebels are not a viable threat anymore.

The loss of Allepo has sealed their fate they can temporalily take positions but they can't hold back the regime anywhere that the regime wants to press the issue.

We are entering the end phase now.

They will always be a viable threat just not as urgent now .... attrition and the long game is the issue..do iran and russia want constant war forever there? Will other nations (u.s turkey israel,gulf states ) allow the status quo to continue ?

I just saw a news piece about the White Helmets. Apparently they are the bad guys.

Civilians claim they only help Al Nusra, and even shot at civvies to get them out of the way.

Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) does rescue and medical work in both regime and "moderate" rebel areas, but they don't travel with a large film production crew to stage rescues. To make it simple:

Syrian Arab Red Crescent= actual rescue personal

White Helmet = Al-Qaeda's support and PR branch
